Freshfeet™ Leather Extra Wide Panelled Shoes with Silver Technology

My husband has been buying these shoes over the last few years and they have been perfect for work and formal functions. Wide fit is super comfortable and the quality of the leather means they last for a long time. It can be hard to find good looking and comfortable shoes in size 12 and they tick all the boxes. As per advice from other customers, do put some protector before wearing, as with any other shoes really, polish regularly and check the soles once in a while to catch the time when they need replacing. We replace with rubber soles and get another good few months of wear after that - and he never ever had wet feet or white marks with those shoes. I do hope the size 12 comes back in stock very soon, M&S!!

These shoes are a lovely fit and classic shoes that tick the box as a great work shoe with style...but M&S need to perhaps talk to their designers to change the leather sole for a rubber sole or rubber strip to stop paying customers getting wet feet. I walk from my car to the office circa 25 meters and end up with damp feet if the ground is wet). I think the wet sole spreads causing the salt marks. M&S please style your shoes to suit the wet UK climate

Bought these for my husband and they were a perfect choice for a black tie wedding we recently attended in New York. It's sometimes difficult to find wide fit shoes in a specific style, but these ticked all the boxes!

I bought a pair of these in November, but as per the other reviews, as soon as they got slightly wet, they developed white marks on the leather. In addition, the soles got soggy and leaked to the extent that my entire foot was wet.

I fell in love with these; they’re classically chic. These would be great for anything, be it work or a black tie dinner. Style aside, they took a few wears before they gave some bend whilst walking. I was cautious about these given reviews but I genuinely thought they were too beautiful not to get. The sole is very slippery so I paid my cobbler to put a rubber sole on top of the leather one, you can't tell it's there but the shoes will last MUCH longer but it was an added expense. Secondly, due to the reviews about salt stains I ordered the very best leather protector/waterproofer from Paris as I didn't want them ruined by the rain; another expense incurred but hopefully this will allow me to enjoy the shoes for as long as possible. My feet are a little wide so these were a dream with regards to comfort. Take note M&S... Please ensure you have your shoes properly treated and protected when they're made and you won't get these complaints about quality.

Bought 2 pairs of these shoes at M&S since they were very comfortable and fit extremely well (finding large sizes with extra wide is not easy). Within 2 wears of each pair they got white marks on the leather; making them completely unwearable for work. Tried everything on them including desalter which was supposed to remove white stains. Could just about understand if one pair was a dud but happening to both pairs seems a quality problem. In fairness took them back to the moorgate store where the manager looked suitably horrified and gave me a full refund on the spot for both pairs. Marks and Spencers customer service excellent as ever but the quality isn't there on these shoes.

Really like these shoes as they are smart, elegant and high quality and they appear superior in every way to others of this style in store. I am usually a size 10-11 but these are 9 1/2 and fit well, possibly because they are an extra width fit. I don't usually take an extra wide fit but these still work well for me and it is useful to have half sizes as so many of the other shoes in store don't. The only real shame is that this shoe is not made in a standard fitting.

I bought these shoes in November 2012 and they are the worst shoes I have ever bought. As soon as they got even slightly wet in the lovely London weather, the leather around the side of the shoes went white. I cleaned the shoes as soon as I got back in the office but even though the wide marks faded, it had stripped the outer sheen off the shoes and made them a matt colour just in that area. Any sign of rain or snow, and the white marks return. Such a waste of money. Never again!
