Four Seasons Biscuit Tin with Mini Shortbread
Yes, I recommend this
This product was reduced from an expensive £10 to just £2.50 which I assume was due to biscuits expire date being mid may, the biscuits were superb, the wife loves the all butter ones which these are so top marks on quality , however the tin is an awful design, someone has put a nice tin with pictures making it very pretty and then put a lid on which wont seal, quite how in 2013 you design a biscuit tin unsuitable for biscuits I don't know but after looking at other reviews 99% said the same, the tins no doubt will find a use for other foods or nick-nacks but shame not for biscuits. I am just happy I bought at £2.50 and not £10 as I would have been very disappointed.

The only snag was the cover. Problems with it closing

Biscuit tin
No, I don't recommend this
I purchased this for my self and many family members for Christmas. I have just opened it to find that the lid doesn't fit snug so it's not a biscuit tin. Very disappointing as it looks lovely but is not functional making the biscuits inside expensive!

Perfect present for elderly relatives
Yes, I recommend this
I wanted to send a present to a couple in their nineties who are teetotal and send something not too expensive. The biscuit tin from Marks & Spencer was a perfect choice and they were delighted and I received a very nice thank you letter. I also appreciated the low delivery charge, unlike some other online companies.

Awful tin
No, I don't recommend this
I was given this as a Christmas present . My first thought was " What a lovely tin " , but then I opened it . The lid doesn't fit back on . Biscuit tins are supposed to be airtight to keep the biscuits fresh ; this is completely useless . Fine to store unopened biscuits in , nothing else . Not what I expect from M&S , more like a discount shop item .

I brought these as part of my mother's Christmas present. She opened them before Christmas and she says she can't stop eating them. Will there be any left by New Year? I think not!

Received this as a Christmas gift, However its impossible to get the lid off, I'm 6ft and seventeen stone and couldn't budge it. Hopeless design. Very disapointed

Lovely tin of biscuits, that need never be put away, just turn the tin what a clever idea ! And they taste great, yummy !

Very disappointing, not fit for purpose.

Was wowed by the attractive tin and reduced price at £5 but even at that price it wasn't a bargain. The biscuits inside were very nice but the lid wouldn't stay on, it wasn't airtight and therefore not fit for purpose and I threw it away (after eating the biscuits). £5 quite a lot for a few biscuits!

Biscuit tin not fit for purpose
No, I don't recommend this
I was given this as a gift, otherwise I would have returned it. It is not airtight so you cannot use it to store biscuits. The lid doesn't even stay on, but lifts as soon as you take your hand away. What is the point of a biscuit tin if you can't keep biscuits in it?

Bad design
No, I don't recommend this
This is a beautiful tin but it's really hard to open and once you have got in the lid won't close properly. The lid just sits on top of the tin, it's certainly not airtight so it won't be any good for keeping biscuits in! A bit pointless for a biscuit tin!

nice tin, shame about the lid.

this is a lovely tin, biscuits are delicious,BUT the lid is very loose, and would not keep biscuits fresh after opening. sorry marks.

I bought several of these for gifts when they were on offer at £5. I have given some to friends and kept one for myself. Everybody loves them, and my friends are now going to buy them for other friends. delicious little shortbreads inside, and once they were gone it fits another packet of biscuits fine.

I was looking for an attractive biscuit tin and was happy to find this at my local store. I really like the design - although the lid is a bit hard to get off (does help keep little hands out though!). I would say if you don't want crushed biscuits, put less in!

Very Disappointing

Luckily I didn't purchase this as a gift! I needed a biscuit barrell and this was on offer in store at £5, that was £5 too much. Looks quite attractive, but you have to make sure the biscuits fit up into the metal cylinder cannister inside, if they overflow outside....crushed biscuits! Awful design and not suitable for its purpose. I am going to return mine for a refund.
