new kitchen light

Chose to go with new kitchen with bras fittings.Cupboard handles are slightly art deco with a ribbed design and the ribbed glass echoes this. The glass isn't the best quality but not a bad price and think they will look OK when installed. I also ordered a small matching pendant for over the sink and a further flush single fitting so hoping overall they will look good and give good light. One small complaint, the spotlight bar says dimmable,the small pendant says not dimmable and the flush fitting does not state either way!! I am hoping they are all dimmable

The light fitting is ok but not great quality metal and glass parts have sharp edges and overall construction quite basic. Once in place looks fine but would not buy again

Not fit for purpose

I bought two of these light tracks because it said could adjust the lamps to face individual directions. Wrong. The lights are lovely but as soon as you attach the shade, it is too heavy and lights simply drop down. Marks and Spencer do not want to know about my electrician costs to replace. Beware!

Nicer than spotlights
Just had my kitchen remodelled and needed new lighting. The Art Deco styling fits in with the age of my house and the style of the kitchen - much much nicer than boring spotlights which are so difficult for replacing the bulbs. No problems with installation by electrician.

Not good engineering
Not well made, bracket to hold bar light too short , round turns into oval when you do up the 2 side screws. Wire connection block too small , only just get a end of a wire to connect.

These are very nice lights. Sadly one of the stems was slightly bent and by the time we noticed it was too late. Bad QC I think. Shame because in all other respects we are very pleased.
