I bought this for my tall 8 and1/2 year old boy and got a size 11-12 because I wanted a loose fit. Though it fitted a bit tightly, it's of great quality, soft, warm and toasty which is good for this weather. My son absolutely loves the dressing gown.

Bought for my tall and slim 7yo, age 8-9 fits him but the arms are quite short so not as much room for growth as I'd like. V cosy and thick though, and good value. And we love the ears!

This is a lovely dressing gown. It's extremely thick because it has the grey sherpa lining throughout. This does make it look quite bulky on, what with the horizontal pattern creating a Michelin Man effect - especially on the arms. HOWEVER this dressing gown can only be worn by children with disproportionately short arms!!! I have an 11 year old who is the size of a petite 8 year old. I hedged my bets and bought sizes 8/9 and 9/10. Both sizes look big, especially across the shoulders which are super broad. But the sleeves were 3/4 length - even with the broad shoulders hanging down over the arms. It was not comfortable. It seems that the original pattern for this dressing has not been cut correctly, as other people have made the same comment. This design fault should have been picked up before making the shop floor. Such a shame. For those that are interested - the belt is detachable, and not incorporated into the back of the dressing gown like some previous M&S dressing gown designs.

Very disappointing, lovely and soft but the arm length is way to small. Had bought smaller size before then getting the bigger size, both sizes the body fitted well but the arms were above wrists!
