Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam 

Absolutely love this cleansing foam; from the day my sister bought me some, I've never stopped using it. I love how gentle the foam feels on my skin, it makes my face feel clean and refreshed. Just ordered more! Thanks Clinique

I really like the product. I use this after using the Clinique cleansing oil, and the two together work brilliantly for me. Or I just use this on its own. I love how clean my face feels after, however my skin is quite dry after using it, my skin is usually not dry, so I had to start using a richer moisturiser with this. I usually have relatively sensitive skin, although I do not react to this, my skin is very dry after.

Cleanses skin well but has a very clinical smell, easy to use

I have used Clinique extra mild facial soap for many years and absolutely love it for my dry skin. Although I use a creme cleanser at night, your extra mild facial soap was perfect In the shower in the morning. I was so disappointed when it disappeared from your range but thought this extra gentle foam would be OK instead. I was very wrong. It dries my skin and leaves it feeling dry & tight. I have had to stop using it and am now searching for a replacement product which will have to be another brand. I dont understand why such a perfect product should be discontinued.Please bring it back.

I've been struggling to find a cleanser that is suitable for my sensitive, acne prone skin. To explain, a lot of cleansers that treat acne are typically too strong for sensitive skin - so whilst they may treat the acne, the skin will still look irritated (in terms of colour). However - I've found that this cleanser is great! It doesn't break me out (I'm guessing because it has salicylic acid in it), and it also doesn't irritate the sensitive areas of my skin. I've seen some people saying that it has a chemical smell, but I don't notice it. I would rather it has a indistinct smell & not irritate my skin, than one that's full of fragrance. Well done Clinique!

I have used this product for years and would never use anything else. My skin is extremely dry and sensitive and I hate using cleansing creams as I don't feel they get my face clean. This is a fantastic alternative to soap and water, leaving my skin fresh and soft and I highly recommend it.

During Winter I have very dry, very sensitive skin and this time of year onwards my skin is significantly less sensitive and not as dry. I've been using this cleanser twice daily since the end of April. I can't apply it to my neck as it causes a red itchy rash. My face doesn't itch however the redness I have managed to get rid of has since returned. It also leaves my face feeling dry, tight and uncomfortable. Since using this cleanser my skin is now as dry as it is in Winter. I wouldn't dream of using this then. I also applied my Clinique iD moisturiser afterwards and it burned. It felt like my face was on fire. I have emailed Clinique and it's been 4 days with no response and I can't contact the store I bought it from due to lockdown restrictions. If you have dry sensitive skin this product isn't suitable at all.

I ordered the 'Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam' after being advised from an online assistant that this would be the best replacement for the now discontinued cleansing milk that I religiously used. I was told it would be perfect to use on sensitive, eczema prone skin, so went ahead and ordered it. After using it twice I came out with rashes all over my face. I sent images through email to Clinique but did not receive a response. My skin was so inflamed and itchy, I had to result to using very strong eczema cream to calm down the redness leaving me with extremely dry and flaky skin. Such a let down over a product I was advised to use! Would NOT recommend.

This is the only product that ticks ever single box I look for in cleanser - no strong fragrance, cleans but gentle and foams, so that dirt is easily lifted away. Also great to use if you wear semi permanent lashes, as the product cleans well, without you having to hardly even rub it in. Please please please please never stop making this product, nothing else out there even slightly compares or is as good as this product if you have dry/sensitive skin.

i got this face wash years ago, and still use it often! it really cleans my face, leaving it glowy and looking very fresh. i use it with my sonic brush, which i do think helps with it getting pores cleaned. this is great for young people or people with sensitive skin. the thing i love about this is that it doesn't make my face look or feel tight - it's so gentle that there's absolutely nothing bad that it does to your skin. it's helped me with my breakouts, getting rid of them straight away! thank you clinique!!

I am so pleased Clinique decided to release this cleanser in the UK as I had previously purchased in the US and fell in love with how gentle this is. After using so many different foam cleansers on my dehydrated combination skin I found most dried my skin out; but I was very surprised to discover just how soft and hydrated my face felt after using this! This really would be suitable for ALL skin types.

i had tried every single face wash clinique had on offer and none of them were suitable for my skin, it would either dry it out or give me break outs. am prone to eczema on my cheeks so i even tired the extra mild wash, again it was still no good for my skin type so i just stuck with the moisture surge moisturiser. when this came out i gave it ago and its brilliant for my skin. it dosent dry it out and it feels and looks clean and hasn't once aggravated my eczema like all the other face washes they sell. this is brilliant.
