Even Better™ Pore Defying Primer, 30ml

I was keen to try this primer as large pores has always been an issue for me and i was curious to try it as it has niacinamide in it! I wouldn't say i have a completely poreless look after using but it is a great primer that is sticky so that i really felt my makeup clung better on my skin than it usually does with other primers and lasted well through out the day!!

This primer makes my skin feel amazing. It smooths out the base making it easy to apply my makeup and I feel it is very long lasting. I have normal/dry skin and I would recommend this to anyone with the same.

Love this product! Usually after a few hours of applying makeup my t-zone is oily and shiny, but when I use this primer my makeup lasts all day and im far less shiny. Even though it has a thick texture to start with, it blends really easily and works well under makeup.

I like the clear formula and how it melts into the skin when you apply. My makeup also sat well on this primer throughout the day and didn't make my skin greasy like some others I have tried.

I have combination skin and this product has worked wonders for me. It keeps my skin hydrated (thank you hyaluronic acid) without making it oily and also helps in minimizing pores. It almost feels like I have a filter on my face!

I am not a big fan of primers but this one made a difference - my skin is acne prone but it didn't make it oily or a bad reaction

It melts in my skin, makes it even in texture and make my makeup last longer. Really like this product and love the ingredients, I think its a great way of incorporating niacinamide in my routine.

i'm quite liking this primer - its got a smooth but sticky texture so it definitely requires leaving a minute before adding on makeup but it clings & locks in your makeup to your skin!

This is just an awful primer, the pilling is bad and just doesn't go on smoothly at all. The superprimer was an amazing product, please bring it back. I'm having to look at other brands now. Very disappointing.

It is not as smooth as Universal - comes out Claggy So disappointing Will not use again will look at other brands

I totally agree with the reviews by Laura J and Beehive. This product is even more awful than the 'Even Better Light Reflecting Primer' (which makes my skin shiny..) This one is claggy, it doesn't glide on evenly and makes the makes the foundation 'sticky'. Pleeease bring back the SUPERPRIMER!

I bought this to help hide my pores a little. It goes on really milky on me, moves around a lot, then my foundation moves even more after. Doesn't appear to do anything other than make my make up more patchy.

I wonder if this product is very old? I was unable to spread this on my face. Quite bizarre, it was like putting a glue on - but almost stayed in the little blob - could not spread across my cheeks. Tried some on my forehead - just the same. Had to use my nails to scrape it off as could only squash it on. No change of being a primer. Totally unable to spread it. I have typical English rose complexion - very fine pores. I love make up and use good products. I was so disappointed. Would really like my money back? What do I do with this Clinique Primer?

Since being unable to buy the universal primer, I ordered a small size of both new primers. Unfortunately, neither of them have worked for me with my routine. The pore defying primer didn't rub in very easily and ended up rolling into clumps which made applying my Clinique Superbalanced foundation very difficult. As someone with skin issues and allergies, it's always difficult when companies change or discontinue products that work for my skin. Unfortunately, I'm now going to have to find another branded primer :(
