Thought I would try these instead of other similar brands, and they are comfy straight out of the box. I am a 5.5 and the 6 EUR39 fit perfectly, its possible that if you are a size 6 they might feel a little small.

Third pair of Golas - great quality - good choice of styles and colours - find Addidas too flat - Golas offer more cushion & support! Size perfect - am a UK 7 fits every time - whereas in M&S boots am 6.5

Why is the tongue made of uncovered sponge?

These are lovely looking trainers and are comfortable but the tongue is awful and made cheaply. It's made of sponge and the fabric stitched to it is a cream polyester type material, which does not cover all the sponge tongue! So, the sponge is exposed all around the edge (clearly visible)and the edge of the material is frayed because it doesn't cover the togue. The tongue should be covered in suede really, especially at this price point. Disappointing.

These trainers look so good I ordered the light green ones and I’m really please. I didn’t give 5 starts because they’re very flat and I have a raised instep so I’m not going to be able to use them for any distance walking.

I received these trainers yesterday put them on today and couldn’t take them off. I like that they have a thick sole so feel slightly elevated. The comfort is amazing and can’t wait to wear them on holiday. Know I’ve got the perfect holiday trainers and love that I’ll have the style with comfort
