Does not stay on top of suitcase

I want to love this duffel but does not stay on the “carry on” suitcase, which I envisioned it would as it has the same name. If the duffel is too top heavy, which is easy to do, the bag will sling around and fall over. The elastic is obviously too weak and will stretch easily. I’m bummed.

I like this product but there are a few improvements I’d suggest: bigger pocket outside to hold a water bottle securely. I like the U shaped zipper closure of the larger duffle size so that the bag will stay open to see what’s inside better.

The straps are very stiff and the bag itself is so structured that it is harder to put things in and take things out. Also, no way to lock the duffel, since the zipper pulls don’t allow for that. All in all, it’s a beautiful bag for weekend trips. Car rides. Overnight stays. However, it is just shy of being practical for airplane travel (opinion of course). I took off one star for this reason.
