Double Wear Sheer Flattery Loose Powder 9g

I'm so happy I purchased this eyeliner and did not listen to the nay sayers. It goes on so smoothly and lasts all day. It is easily smudged if needed, and is absolutely no problem at all to sharpen!! (I use Estée Lauder's pencil sharpener). I like this eyeliner so much, that I recently purchased two more (in different colors).

I loved this until I had to sharpen it. It just fell apart. I used the Estée Lauder sharpener that I purchased to go with it.

I really like this pencil. It applies really well and is very smooth. I did not have issues sharpening it, I use the recommended sharpener and rotate the pencil very slow not to break the tip. The colors are beautiful and well matched. So far, no complains!

Most eyeliners "tug" on my lids, and don't go on smoothly. I purchased the Smoke and Brighten about a month ago, and it's my new favorite! I'm using the dark chocolate/bronze. I use the bronze on my top lid in the inner corner, and bottom right in the outer corner to make my eyes sparkle! And the dark chocolate I use for the wing (top lid outer corner to about center). I use a shadow brush to smudge out the darker color and give my eyes the Smokey effect! The liner stays soft enough to work with. Most others dry as soon as you apply. My liner came with a sharpener, and I've had no issues sharpening. Even sharpens to a fine point (accidentally sharpened too well lol). Love love love it and plan on purchasing again, may try another color next time!

I have the dark chocolate/Bronze one. The dark chocolate works beautifully as an eyeliner, the bronze I used as eye shadow. The only con about this pencil is the hard plastic exterior is very hard to remove with a sharpener. These used to be made of wood. I bought the Estee Lauder sharpener thinking it would be better, but it wasn't. The pencil is very soft and can not be sharpened to a point, but that does not bother me. It is so soft and silky and easy to make a line with a light touch and carefully filling in a line. Despite being so soft it dries solid and looks the same at the end of the day. It is so hard to remove the plastic that it is hard to expose enough of the liner. I would hope they would change these so it is easier to sharpen the outside part. The pencil itself would never come to a point because it is so soft, but that is why it works so well and works better than a pointy liner. Also some of these colors like the bronze would be nice in a wider pencil to use for eye shadow. All the colors are beautiful. I would buy them all if it wasn't so hard to take the outer covering off.

I should have read these reviews prior to purchasing. I have to agree that it is impossible to sharpen. I was looking for tips on how to sharpen it however it appears others are having the same problem. For the price it hasn't lasted very long at all and the fact that it cannot be sharpened is very disappointing.

I was waiting to try this new concept. However,I found the color not as dark as I had wished. The brighter color did look good in the color of my eye. I agree that the pencil does not sharpen correctly. I have the same difficulty sharpening your new lip stick pencils.

Hi - I bought his in Dark chocolate/Rich Bronze - this is lovely and glides on effortlessly but I'm a bit disappointed as the Bronze bit is not as Bronze as it looks in the photograph - at least it isn't on me. However, the chocolate brown is a lovely rich colour.

this pencil glided across my eyelid very smoothly and did not pull the skin,

This is so soft it's easy to apply and then blends beautifully before drying. I'm so grateful my EL counter rep recommended I try it. Really lovely colors (my favorite is the dark brown and bronze combination); I use the dark brown on my upper lid and bronze right at my lower lashes. My only pet peeve is it doesn't sharpen well, put I'm persistent.
