Textured Double Layer Top

I had looked at these in-store but was undecided because of the price when I could use tee-shirts for working out. However, with the lockdown and doing exercises at home I decided to treat myself. Whilst this top looks and feels okay it is nothing special although I have yet to put it through a strenuous work routine! Ironically, in the same order I bought some 'relaxed fit' tee-shirts which were in 3 for 2 offer. Those 3 were 2/3 rds the price of this item and to be honest they are more comfortable, better quality, and much, much better value. I suppose it depends on how stylish you wish to be when working out! I have decided to keep this in an effort to update myself and my wardrobe but I won't buy any more.

I read the reviews before buying this in order to hopefully get correct size and like most other reviews I am absolutely delighted that finally finally finally Marks and Spencer have produced a top in their sportswear that is true to size and a flattering style. Colours are ok, but that’s personal choice. Maybe this buyer could give the other buyers in your other ranges some tips!

The colour of this top is beautiful and is very comfortable to wear. The top layer is quite loose but I like that style. I plan to buy this in different colours too.

I kept this top for Pilates classes as I liked the fact thst it stays in place at the back, however in retrospect I could have sized down.

I bought this to exercise in, and I wanted something that skimmed my large stomach! It feels flattering - although I did size up and wish I hadn't now as the bottom layer is quite baggy at the bottom. Lovely colour and soft comfortable material.

I bought this in blue and white to coordinate with the printed, cropped leggings. So far, my family have been very complimentary!

I bought two of these tops (one in the black/yellow colour way & one in the blue/white colour way) alongside the Goodmove multicoloured patterned leggings as I wanted to freshen up my fitness wardrobe with tops I could wear out running that would feel flattering. I am 5'3" and a size 18 with an Apple shape so I wanted tops where I would not feel like all my lumps & bumps were being exposed. I really like these tops! I like that they are two part and so I can mix with other tops I already have if I want to. So far I have worn them as a set as they come. I bought an 18 and they are, as some reviewers have said, a bit big. I noticed it more with the vest (a bit loose under the arm of the vest) but the top mesh vest hides that & it's not a big deal. The mesh top vest is a good fabric and I like that it is slightly vented at the back - the bottom edge vent is (to my mind) flattering & the stitched middle section keeps it neat so the back isn't flapping open completely. So far I have used the top for running & 3 HIIT classes. The only time I have had an issue with the inner vest being a bit big was when I was doing mountain climbers & burpees as it fell down towards my chest as I was doing those exercises - issue was solved by tucking the vest edge into my leggings & the mesh top then helped me not feel too exposed at my butt. For running and any more static HIIT exercises (lunges, sits ups, plank, weights) there's been no issue with the vest sizing. Indeed for running I have liked the fact that the whole top is loose as that has helped with keeping cool on these warmer mornings - and I also feel less exposed. I have washed the top and both parts have come out fine, no shrinkage or colour loss. Overall, I think this top is great value for money, it's well made and the colour choices are cheerful!

I thought this outfit was good value for money and comfortable. Would have preferred a different choice of colour perhaps in pink and navy or lime and navy. The fit was large on me as I specifically ordered a larger size but I am pleased that it provides a lot of movement. I would, however have oreferred it to have been a little bit longer. It is well made and I would recommend it.

Colour of the underlay vest was a lovely blue colour which contract well with the white overtop. NIce style but I would had liked the top layer to be a different type of material rather than mesh style. I kept the top as I liked he style. Not certain how durable it is as I haven't tried it out yet.

I sent this top back as I had not realised there was a split opening as part of the style which just did not sit right on me making my bottom look big. Lovely colours, quite small.

The red and orange top was an instant success. I've put on weight round the tum so the flair shape makes me feel and look really good Its really clever to make it in two parts for separates mix and match. In brief - a must have.

It's not really a two in one - more two separate pieces but it looks good on and the colour way is very flattering. Nice to have a sports top which is a bit different.

The colours were lovely but the style was awful aha it looked just like a dishrag. Returned immediately.
