Denim Belted Midi Shirt Dress

I was unsure about this dress but decided to bite the bullet and try it. Was really surprised. I am curvy lady and often dresses with fit on the hips but not on the top After reading reviews I was a bit hesitant about the body being too short but it fits perfectly, the length is just perfect for me and comes to my calf. So impressed that the fastenings are really secure. Being poppers I was worried that it might lend itself to pop open but no. Felt really confident in this dress. I did roll the sleeves as feel they were a bit constricting but that just me. Glad I brought this as it's a good quality material that I can see remaining a part of wardrobe for many years to come.

Got this in the sale but after trying it on would happily have paid full price. Not washed it yet. Perfect size 8 fit.

Very good quality Unfortunately due to lockdown size 8 pulled on my bum but fitted on the bust. So I bought size ten and will take it to dressmakers to take in on bust Still a smart tailored smart /casual look BARGAIN

Very pleased with the quality

I bought this in store as they had opened the lower floor for a limited selection of women's clothing and lingerie. When I saw this online I thought it looked too heavy and would make a generous bust look matronly as denim dresses sometimes do. However when on it looks so chic. The material is soft and drapes very well. When you open all the buttons and wear it as a coat it looks superb, very chic. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on that aspect. I am a size 10-12 and usually go for M and S 12 as I have broad shoulders. Belts and ties really help to make looser clothes more defined.

I tried this dress on a couple of times before I could make up my mind. It is a well made quality dress. Not a lightweight summer dress but more of a transitional dress. The material is quite thick but flexible and comfortable. For me the main issue was that I found the dark blue a bit overpowering. On my second try on I thought that I could wear it open at the front with something underneath such as a vest or tee. It could almost be worn as a duster coat. Given the plainness of the dress I think it needs some breaking up with a scarf, vest of jewelry in a brighter colour. It's worth a try though because it is very well made but not for a hot summer.

I read the reviews for this dress and they were quite mixed. I find the dress to be great quality with a little stretch. A perfect fit with a lovely full skirt. The only thing I was unsure about is the length. It's a bit shorter than I usually wear but my daughter says it's fine. I'm 5ft 3 and it comes to about 3 inches below my knee. Lovely with runners or heels.

I ordered a 6 and an 8 ( I am a standard UK 8) but I feared that this might be slightly large, as M&S can be. It was! I kept the 6 which fits beautifully. The dress is great quality, a good length and will prove versatile. At £25, a complete bargain, too.

I have had my eye on this dress for ages and so pleased when it came into the sale, though i think it was good value at full price anyway. A soft denim dress that can be worn all year round. Very similar to couple of others on the high street but far better value. Really stylish and different and fits perfectly. I will also wear it as a long jacket in the Autumn over trousers and polo neck.

Initially disappointed with this dress as it has too much material on bottom half. However it is very comfy and it will suit all seasons. Have decided to keep it as it was bought with 30% off always a bonus!

Beautiful dress and style!but had to return because just didnt suit me very well but a very nice dress and color!

I read the reviews that said how high the belt loops were and I thought I’d chance it. They were right. Unless your very short in the body the waist will be at chest level! It’s a shame as the material is lovely for the money
