Deep Pleat Wide Leg Trousers

Flattering, great fit. Very pleased with them.

What a shame that these are not made in different lengths.I love the idea of culottes, but these swamped me and were most unflattering with so much material. Maybe look good on a six foot lady, but certainly not on this 5ft 3 lady. Very disappointed.

Really pleased with these trousers. Look lovely on and look good with heels or trainers.

These trousers are great - very stylish but also very comfortable to wear. I know the fastening is the wrong way round, but I have got used to this. They are quite big fitting, but it means I can tuck in a longline shirt without any lumps showing. The length is great - I am 5' 7" and they are mid calf. They look far more expensive than they are and I have had lots of compliments.

I bought these and a similar pair from Per Una range. I have decided to return these and keep the others as I found these too long (close to my ankles) and felt a bit swamped in them. If you are looking for a pair of long culottes then you might like these but I at 5 ft 3 ins I found the short Per Una pair long enough. These are a bit neat around the waist and felt rather tight.

I have always liked wearing culottes and after trying on several pairs of trousers in my size that gaped at the waist was delighted to find these were a perfect fit. Wore them with a silky top and had lots of comments how well they looked together. Had to pack them for travelling and came out of my case with no creases.

Really like them, however a bit on small size, had to get next size up.

I wanted to love these trousers but yet again M&S have decided to fasten them to the side usually used on men's trousers in this country. I can't understand why. This means that if you tuck a shirt into the trousers, there is no alignment .....the blouse fastens to the left and the trousers to the right. Ugh!

I have been looking for slightly Japanese style clothes with a simple cut and something a bit different about them. These trousers fit the bill perfectly! The pleat is reminiscent of an origami fold ( that's what I decided, anyway) and the culottes just flow. I've never worn culottes before but these are all I hoped they'd be. Fitted nicely around the bum, though the waist in the 14 I found to be a bit generous and no belt loops. I may try the 12. I can stuff my hands into the pockets and just swoosh all that fabric. ('Swooshing' is a big thing with me this season). They are the perfect length and look great with ballet pump style shoes or jolie laide brogues for a more boyish take. Someone said they would style them with heeled boots, which I must try as I think they will look a bit 70s Abba. Definitely wear to work with a fitted top but also lovely and slouchy with a kimono jacket for an artistic gallery day at the weekend! Bit pricey though and the zip does up the men's way which is awkward every time you go to the loo. Still, I like them.

It took me a while to take to culottes, but these really persuaded me. They're a great fit and longer than most culottes so they are a very flattering shape. I plan to wear these all year round, as the material is light but very nicely cut.

I love these trousers, everything about them is right, the fabric, style and quality. They hang perfectly and can be dressed up and down. For ma though as with many of M&S high waisted trousers and skirts. The sizing is slightly out. Just a little too tight around the waist, despite fitting beautifully everywhere else.

gorgeous style and excellent fit (I am 5ft10,and love the calf length) and very good quality. Easy to wear with ballet flats and casual jacket or with high heel boots with a cropped jacket for a trendy military style. I ordered the size 10 as usual and it is slightly on the generous side.

Love these trousers. No wonder they made the Vogue edit! Very stylish, lovely fabric, excellent quality. The only thing that is odd is that the zip operates the 'male' way. Odd thing to do in women's clothing, don't like that. However this does not detract from the great product.

Excellent fit,good quality , looking forward to wearing with boots. Well done M&S.
