Love this shampoo. Perfect for my fine, coloured hair. You only need a very small amount so it lasts ages. No heaviness, kind on the scalp- no irritation.

Was disappointed with this product, felt no difference to my hair and didn't feel that clean. Had to use a lot of product as there was no lather so never felt like I was cleaning my hair enough. Smelt nice but ended up using it as body wash

I am sadly not getting on with this shampoo at all. There is no lather when I use a normal amount, so my hair doesn't feel clean. Always have to wash it twice and use more shampoo than I would with other products. My hair is then fine for about 12 hrs, but starts to look greasy after that, so have to repeat the next morning. Not a cheap product and I will be through this bottle in about a month which seriously pains me. Was hoping it would last longer and work better for that price.

It’s brilliant - you don’t need much, and it rinses out easily which is great when you have long, thick hair. Doesn’t irritate my scalp and leaves hair feeling clean without stripping it. Smells lovely too.

I bought this shampoo as I was looking for something to rescue my damaged hair. It was very expensive, but figured that if it helped, it would be worth the cost. Imagine my dismay when, having used it only once, the shampoo left my hair feeling limp and looking greasy. I tried it again, and got exactly the same results. I have used many shampoos before, but I have never used a shampoo which has left my hair looking like this. I’m extremely disappointed, not least because it was a lot of money to spend on a product which doesn’t work. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Excellent product for dry and damaged hair. This shampoo is gentle, fewer hairs are lost during washing. I use it with Nutriplenish leave-in spray and treatment, happy with the result; my hair has been transformed from dry straw into manageable.

II bought the damage remedy shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner after taking the online Aveda quiz. Sadly this set doesn't work for my hair. I think this might be because I live in London and have very hard water. Despite my best efforts and trying a few different techniques, I always feel like I have left over product/residue in my hair after washing it and the ends of my hair still feel quite dry.

I use this product when I feel my hair needs a bit more care, just after colour etc, I change it up with other aveda products but I always have a bottle of this, hair feels stronger after use and has a lovely shine and smell. A real treat

Product is great, smells great and does what it says on the bottle. As this product is sls free, you tend to have to use slightly more shampoo to wash your hair effectively. Must be used with the damage ready conditioner for effective results. Thanks aveda
