Cycling Chinos with Stormwear™

My husband loves these chinos so much he has purchased 5 pairs. They are hard wearing, comfortable and perfect for cycling and leisure wear.

Got these in you online sale and I'm delighted with them. I went out in the pouring rain the other day and they were ideal for these conditions.

I ordered these trousers for my father. They fit perfectly, good quality.

Mr. Fussy loves these trousers so much that he now owns three pairs - and he's hard to please. He likes that they look smarter than jeans but are comfortable and great for walking. They wash well too. At the reduced price they are a bargain not to be missed!

Got these trousers as a last minute buy for a walking holiday When I tried them on found the stitching on both front pockets had split. Not a great problem at the sale price, sewn up my self. Thought they were so good got a second pair when I got home pockets ok. I don't think they were worth the pre sale price of £45.00 but great value at sale price. Don't be put of by description cycling trousers, all the cycling bits are optional.

I bought these Chinos online as a sale item, don't usually do this as like to try first,however they fit perfectly. The material is good quality and they seem to be well tailored. Plenty of pockets ( 5 ) 3 of which have zips, great when out and about to keep things secure. First trousers I have found in a long time that have an effective shirt band They represent such good value and fit so well that I immediately bought another pair in the second colour way. Great fit and a very clever and stylish design.

I haven't worn them cycling yet but the fit and comfort is fine for walking and general use. The have press studs inside the bottom of the legs so they can be snapped tighter to avoid the need for clips. I will reserve judgement whether these work or not. Overall, good chinos.

Well made garment which is true to size. They are comfortable and do not have baggy trouser legs in other makes I have tried. They are shower proof,have a shirt grip and made to move with you while you are cycling and therefore they don`t restrict in anyway.

At the offer price these are a fantastic bargain. Great for cycling or, indeed, golfing. It was a little big in the waist though. However, I was so pleased I bought a second pair. One thing to be aware of - they iron very badly. Its almost impossible to get rid of all the creases. Though not a problem if just used for cycling etc.

I was looking for well cut, comfortable cycling trousers which would also be suitable for workwear and was doubly pleased to find these reduced to £10.99 (£11.99 in navy). They were so good (Much better than Rapha's offering which are cut for tall, skinny people) that I have now bought another 3 pairs. I hope M&S continues to produce these.

I had to go up a size (and no its not me!). For cycling, they could do with a deeper gusset or higher waist height at back. The zipped side pocket - I have no idea what is for, the opening is too small to get my hand in. My only other 'complaint', is that they seem to crease easily. I have not been caught in the rain yet, so can't comment on the 'Stormwear' function. One thing in their favour is that they are comfortable to wear on and off the bike.

I wanted trousers that were comfortable to cycle in and something that was smart enough to wear to the office and these fulfill that requirement. I would recommend these 100% especially at the sale price I got them.

My only frustration is that you offer no description of what Stormwear is or what it does. I found these trousers by Googling 'waterproof trousers'. I suspect that they are not waterproof, but have no idea what sort of weather they will stand up to. As you also offer Stormwear umbrellas, does that mean that they are waterproof?
