Disappointing
No, I don't recommend this
I read the previous reviews for this item which indicated that the item was a large fit so taking this into account I ordered a smaller size which was too big and quite shapeless. I’ve been disappointed in M&S sizes recently. I usually wear a size 22 top but prefer a looser fit so buy a 24. Earlier this week I tried on 8 linen tops, all size 24 and all were too tight. It’s actually quite a feat to find so many of that size in-store. About a month ago I bought a Per Una linen top, size 22. The item I returned as too big was an 18-20. What’s going on? Plus size doesn’t just mean 18-22 with the occasional 24, and underwear that doesn’t cater for larger sizes. Larger ladies would love to wear nice, modern designs and pretty clothes too.

FLAWED ITEM
No, I don't recommend this
Firstly this item is good in itself but very big. I am not small, obviously, but this swamped me. Secondly while this item was stored by M&S it was put on a much too small clothes hanger and had developed two nasty poke-outs on the shoulder seam. M&S need to store it on a proper size hanger in any case.

I retuned this item as it was too big - a rare thing for me. Very efficient service.

More of a dress than a sweater
No, I don't recommend this
I didn't even get it out of the bag. It is far too !ong almost knee length, which did not look like that in the picture, not flattering on a larger size. Had to return

HUGE!

Lovely colour (I got the ochre) but the fit is absolutely huge. I'm 5ft 9 and often have to go to an 18 in M&S to fit round my bust so thought I'd try out some of the curve products. I like a baggy jumper but this absolutely swamped me. Shame as it's nice quality.

Gorgeous colour loved the top but came in way too big was 2 sizes bigger than the fit I had expected and I had allowed for it to be loose fitting .

Ruined by hanger
No, I don't recommend this
As stated by other buyers, the jumper is ruined by an inappropriate hanger. The colour is lovely and the quality very nice but the sizing is ridiculously large. Given the number of complaints of the same nature that are still occurring, we can only assume that we are talking to our selves and nobody from M&S is actually bothered !

What a disappointment.

Returned item as way too big. I was also surprised at the batwing style as the photos and descriptions did not make this clear. However I did love the colour and weight so I returned the item for a smaller item in the hope that the fit would be better and the marks on the shoulders from the hanger less obvious. I will also be returning the replacement as although the fit is better the ‘bobbles’ on the shoulders from the hanger were even worse.

Lovely baggy jumper
Yes, I recommend this
As others have mentioned, this is generously sized, but it suits the style, and with almost batwing sleeves it was always going to come up a bit big. I have hardly taken it off since it arrived

Lovely Item wonderful fit
Yes, I recommend this
So excited to receive this item as I had to order it online because the flagship M&S stores in the North West don't carry the full range (ridiculous). I tried the jumper on the colour was gorgeous the drape on the jumper was good I went for 26/28 because I was unsure of the sizing but as a size 24 should have gone for the 22/24 as the size was generous. BUT then the horror because this gorgeous item had been put on a hanger that was narrow and too small I had BUMP either side where the hanger had STRETCHED so unfortunately the sad realisation that this wasn't going to rectify itself I had to return the item and sadly as this is the case with all knit wear in the range there's A LOT of profit is going to be lost.

Disappointed

Lovely jumper spoilt by the hanger. Ordered on line and looked at in store. The hanger when removed leaves 2 big lumps in the shoulders which I imagine can only be removed by washing. Disappointed as I liked the jumper .

I'm 5' 1" and Size 18 so I was really pleased when CURVE came into my life but unfortunately this Jumper was way too big. There was so much material it was uncomfortable. The colour was vibrant. I think we need a CURVE for short girls.

No, I don't recommend this
several things I was disappointed with this garment, I was hoping for one that it would match the ochre cardigan but its a different shade, secondly as stated on another review marks and spencer need to rethink the coat hangers for larger garments as the ends of the hangers leave nasty bulges in the garments for this reason I had to return

Poor Sizing Once Again!
No, I don't recommend this
I'm a M&S size 18 so was quite excited to hear about the new Curve range. So far it's been nothing but disappointing. I ordered this top in a couple of colours as the style was exactly what I was looking for but when they arrived I could immediately see they were all huge. On trying them on I looked like I was wearing a tent that was at least 3 sizes too big for me, and that was apart from the strange misshapen lumps in the shoulders caused by the hangers. I've since ordered other items from the range, all in the same size ,which have all either been just as huge or ridiculously too tight across the chest. It is such a shame as the style and colours of the items in the range are lovely so please sort these sizing issues out M&S as you really will have some happy customers!

Lovely feel to sweater but much too big
No, I don't recommend this
I’m disappointed with this sweater, it feels gorgeous and I love the colour but it’s massive on me. I had read previous reviews so ordered the smallest size but I look like Demis Rousos in it. It looks big on the model too. Sadly I will be returning it.

SACK THE BUYERS
No, I don't recommend this
I was so excited at the thought of the new range I used to buy such a lot of things that gave me pleasure when I was younger and slimmer. Plus size does not have to mean shapeless and, regrettably not short. Some of us have very long legs to go with our broader hips and bust size. Marks why cant you stick to a few good quality classics. Trousers in poly wool flatter. Synthetics dont hang well on curves. Tops and jumpers need to be about 27" so as not to swamp and not to end at our widest point. How about merino twin sets - cant get them long enough for any amount of money - wont mention the competition, who supply siize 26 good wool at huge prices but still not long enough. Looking at your polyester shirts - loved the royal blue and black but some of the quality of other new stock are the sort of material used in stores for the people who wear once and throw away. We dont mind paying for quality as long as it fits. Wider people need longer dresses eg shirt waister...... The post war genaration were taller and generally bigger somebody do some research - ask customers for photos of themselves wearing the things they love most whether yours or not. Some of my clothes are ancient but I cant replace them.. Can I join a panel please?
