Shoe companies, not everyone is looking for running shoes! Thanks to NB, the Catalyst fits the bill for cardio fitness classes. With plantar fasciitis, I get the support I need underfoot and at the toe box. The stability and comfort is perfect for lunges and lateral movements. My arches don’t hurt for lack of or too firm support and my forefoot doesn’t slide around. I bought 3 pair for fear they’ ll be discontinued. My Hokas and Brooks are on the sideline.

The shoes are beutiful but they are pretty narrow and I should probably have ordered a size up. I tried giving them a chance and walk them around my house but they now have a crease mark on the front so I couldn'y return them.

The best shoe I’ve worn that support my feet while participating in fitness classes! It provides enough support for lateral movements and lunges. Sizing is perfect. Not to mention, they help with my plantar fasciitis. I bought a second pair, as much needed fitness trainers are so hard to find. Please don’t discontinue them!

Had to return them because the heel on the right shoe was 1/4” higher than the heel on the left, made my knee hurt after walking 2 miles and I don’t have any knee pain or issues.

This shoe had a great fit. I wear a 7 1/2 but can also wear a size 8. It was recommended to size up. The size 8 fit perfectly. I couldn’t ask for a better fit or more comfort.

TL;DR: 2nd pair fits differently from the first. I bought these shoes last year, and they were pretty good. I've had problems with one of my feet (metatarsalgia - pain under the balls of my foot), and I need wide shoes. I also walk a lot, generally about 10K steps a day, so I go through shoes pretty quickly. The first pair of these shoes in size 7D was awesome. The 2nd pair in the same size was really narrow, and flared up my metatarsalgia, so they killed that foot in just a 20 minute walk. It seems like New Balance has become more inconsistent with their QC and sizing.

I wasn't sure I'd like these. They look great and were affordable - normally a no-go for someone with wider feet. I was wrong. These are very comfortable, and they look great. I was so happy with my first pair, I bought a second pair. These are SO worth the money!
