This is a really lovely dress but was very long on me (I am 163cms tall and it reached my ankle). Because I liked it so much I have simply taken it up a few inches. The material is soft, with a little stretch. I am usually a size 12, but bought a 14 because I didn't want it to 'hug' under my bust or waist. It is both smart and pretty, so I am really pleased with my purchase.
