Now that I’m officially a “senior citizen” of 68, I feel that I deserve to add to my collection of tea things for no reason at all! This Spode “Creatures of Curiosity” set is a lovely addition to my frivolous finds. It’s simply beautiful and delicate and I spoke so much about it that my daughter said I must have the coordinating teapot! Well Happy Mother’s Day to me! They’ll both share pride of place in my china cabinet, to be used on special occasions like when I get my latest romance novel. Be warned: getting this will spiral, and next thing you know you’ll be needing a new tea tray, or a pretty little gold tea strainer…maybe a tin of hellishly expensive imported French tea?
