I tried these in 3 different sizes, and settled for the 10R in beige. I would have preferred the legs to be slimmer fitting, say a size 8 leg with a size 10 waist, but they are very comfortable. I sent for the green too, but felt the legs were just too baggy and will return them. I may try the green again, in hope of a slimmer pair!

I normally take a 12 in trousers but long experience of M&S sizing made me realise i should order a 10 and this was just right.The material in these trousers is heavier than the normal M&S chinos but I like that as I wanted them for spring.I really like the fact that the waist is quite high and cut very flatteringly,which makes them really comfortable.What I’m not keen on is that the legs are wider than usual-but I can live with that.I ordered a regular length,they’re a bit long but not overly so.

These trousers have very wide legs from the knee upwards. Not the best style to be honest! The green is a lovely colour and although I am not keen on the shape I have kept them. They need to be turned up too (as on the photo of the model) otherwise they look a bit 'flared' at the hem. Disappointing and too difficult to return them as I live abroad

Good colour and weight of fabric for spring /summer unless very hot. Fit is OK although quite loose on the back leg area which reflects the casul nature of the trouser but nice fit across the hips giving shape. Would have liked them in a range of colours but purchased the two availble. I prefer the green to sandy colour but both are versatile and could be worn with a range of other colours. True to size and quite a good fit on the waist although I will wear a belt with them. I purchased during a promotion so were cheaper than set price but I still think at full price they represent good value for money. I had sent for two of the cheaper M&S range of chinos also but returned them as I felt these were far better quality.
