I already have a black and navy pair of these trousers. They are just terrific. Nice fit, don’t crease, wash well and can be casual or smart. So I decided to buy two pairs for the forthcoming autumn/winter season.

A credible replacement

These are the ONLY closely-resembling and fit-acceptable replacements of a model that (alas) has been taken out of production... The elastic band isn't as bad as one would think to look at the trousers and it doesn't hinder the overall aesthetics when worn. The fabric is very good quality (at least for the model of July'24) and it wears quite well.

I really like these, they are very flattering and a heavier weight fabric (for me still fine for all but the warmest weather). I had same style previously but these are better as the pockets don't gape now and the elastic band at the back means the fit is very good

In the past I bought a pair of these trousers size 16 and I still wear them. However, the size 18 I just ordered does not fit properly!! Your sizes are unpredictable these days, Shame, as nice trousers.

Delighted with the cut, fit and quality of these trousers. The fabric is stretchy and thick, creating a flattering but comfy shape. Elasticated waist is also a godsend! Short is a great ankle skimming length for me (I’m 5ft 2ins) and I just love the range of sizes available. Well done M&S!
