Tapered leg
They are okay, I like the pockets on the back but the tapered leg is a little too severe, giving a slightly baggy clown look. I kept them as needed for holiday and I liked the fabric but thought the cut would be more flattering if straight.

Smart and relaxed
I bought these trousers for smarter outings in the heat and they look just right! I went a size smaller than usual (10 rather than 12) because they are very baggy otherwise round the hips and thighs. They wash well too.

I got these in the beige colour and they are a really nice alternative to wide leg linen trousers. I am 5ft 4ins - 29in leg, and found the 12R too short for me so I got the 12L and although I have had to turn them up a little more than they are already, they are a much better fit. The waist is a little big but I am not bothered about that as when it's hot it nice to have some room. I also tried the conker colour but could not find a pair that fitted properly so I guess I was lucky with the beige ones. Seems the sizes do vary. I love linen and always hand wash new linen clothes to see how much it shrinks. These shrunk quite a bit - not in length - the waist in particular went from loose to snug fitting but a steam iron brought them back to the original size. All in all I am happy with purchase.
