Cotton Rich Ribbed Longline Jumper

Nice colour and fabric. The neckline is a little high to be comfortable for me but solved by turning the collar down a little.

This jumper is very roomy and a large collar up to neck.

It is quite hard to find a longline for tall folk but this is okay as it just covers my bottom, so not longline even on 5’71/2” which is particularly tall. Fortunately it doesn’t end at my widest part which the majority do at the moment. I particularly like the styling at the neck as this doesn’t emphasise my elderly droopy jowls. Also since not a true polo neck I will probably get more wear out of it beyond winter. It feels heavy on. I really like split hems as I think they lie better but was surprised this is only split at one side. I expect I’ll get used to that and no-one can see both sides at the same time. I bought this in both colours but only kept the brownish one as it was a smaller, neater fit despite both being allegedly large size. I have long arms yet sleeve length still suited. I am happy with the price. I think M & S have exceptional quality jumpers at very reasonable prices this winter. Of course, this means I have bought more then I usually do over a season.

I bought this in brown - it’s a nice chocolate colour with a hint of purple in it. The neck is very high - the crossover sits right under my chin and doesn’t feel quite right. Also the garment is incredibly heavy and a little firm-textured, so it didn’t feel soft, warm and comforting as I’d hoped. I’ve worn it a couple of times, but I doubt it’ll become a favourite.

Having been very happy with previous M&S ‘cotton rich’ jumpers of this type, I jumped at the chance to buy another one in a winter colour. I bought the dark grape/ with a brown tint to it colour and am very happy with it. It is a heavier weight cotton so will keep me snug and warm without overheating in central heated homes. It is a good length and will look great with either my straight leg jeans or wide leg trousers and could be smart or casual. It would also work well as an extra layer over a fitted denim dress. All round a great purchase!

I love this jumper because it’s cotton rich and it’s long line , so many times I love a jumper then see it’s going to be far too short . I am 5 10 and know it’s never going to be long enough . So more longer length please , it can’t be just me surely .

Nice jumper but a bit short in the body for me, as is the case for the majority of M and S knitwear.
