I can't believe how reasonably priced this dress was. A real spur of the moment purchase and I'm so pleased with it. Fits well, sits on the knee (I'm 5'4"). Comfortable and flattering, will be my Christmas Day dress and I know I'll be comfy and stylish! I wore it on a Christmas night out and got many compliments for other women who wanted to know where to buy it from, they were surprised when I said M&S and how well priced it was!

I went into Braehead shopping centre in Glasgow and tried on different dresses in different shops but the quality just wasn't there. I saw this dress in M & S and tried it on in size 18. I said I would think about it and went away, Since the size was right I knew I could come back later and buy. I came back to shop and took a size 18 off the rail (not the one I had tried on) and bought it. I like how the underskirt part of the dress has little studs at shoulders which keeps it in place. Good quality dress and nicely finished. I am 5' 4" so it reaches just above knee. I took dress home and luckily I tried it on again and noticed that the underskirt part of the dress was a size 12, I wondered why I couldn't get it on! I took it back to shop today and luckily managed to get another one in proper sizing. The assistant said that this happens a lot where people change the sizing in a lot of clothes! If that is what happens why are there not more checks at till. Make sure you check all sizes! Why is it always the customers fault.

I bought a size 8, excellent fit, lovely fabric and sits just on the knee. Very dark navy colour, love it and the attached underslip sits perfectly Added bonus, I got a 20% discount off the price, which is great value anyway. Wearing to a Christmas lunch with friends and could be my Christmas Day dress.

Was looking for a dress to wear to a Xmas function, that was suitable to wear to a Cocktail bar. Didn't want anything formal or too "dressy" and wanted sleeves, so this dress fits the bill perfectly. It's different to other dresses that are out at the moment, which I also liked. Very good price too!

Saw this on line so went to store to try it on as I had returned another dress that was too big. Fitted true to size very pretty and can't wait to wear this dress. Would have liked most colour choices blackcurrant colour would have been nice. The navy colour is almost black.
