I searched for a long time in various stores and on websites. There was polyester everywhere. Until finally I came across this wonderful product. 100% cotton. I'm delighted. The body breathes during sleep when I sleep on this product. This mattress cover also protects the mattress perfectly

Great cotton mattress protector, fits bed perfectly, lovely and quilted. Only downside is that it is quite thick and with being cotton takes longer to dry than regular polyester covers. I don't have a tumble dryer.

Despite all the marketing labels and online advertisement about it being "pure" "100%" cotton, it is evidently, once you open it, wash it and use it, NOT REMOTELY 100% cotton. It contains 5% completely undisclosed fibres, which it appears causes intense itchiness and allergic reactions. M&S refuses to disclose what material it is that they're making you sleep on and breathe in at close quarters for a third of the day. Not a saleable product. Misleading and deceptive conduct and false marketing. Unsafe. M&S do better please.
