Cotton Blend Lace A-Line Skirt

Zipper is rubbish and not only looks awful, kept coming down, no button or hook and eye to stop it. Taken skirt back.

Regret it resembled a dress one would wear to a funeral. Sorry - but it is depressing.

This is a very pretty skirt and quite versatile - it did come a slightly tight and I am a size 18 but I think a larger size wouldn't fit so well so I may just move the button on the waist. The lace is very feminine and hangs well and is a good length - the material is a little bit delicate as I did notice I caught the hem on my bag so just need to be aware of this but otherwise a good purchase and quite individual looking.

Lovely skirt to match the short sleeve top. Size 12 is a little on the large size and I will try the size 10 before deciding which to buy.

Beautiful skirt, good length, good weight of fabric so it hangs well. Lovely to see something a bit more feminine that can be worn by a number of age groups (we need more of this M & S !) Thought it slightly pricey but willing to pay for the quality but oh dear M & S, whoever came up with the idea to spoil such a beautiful, elegant skirt with such an awful, obvious, detailed zip really needs to think again. Unfortunately there is not enough material there to replace the zip with a concealed type which means wearing a top or jacket to cover it. Such a shame ! Purchased in black which makes the gold zip more obvious.

This garment looks so elegant on I'm so glad I bought it. It fits so well and flows. I bought this skirt in the black and I'm so pleased with the way the skirt looks and feels I'm going to get it in the other colour

Fab colour and terrific material... but style just did Not suite me .... I've got 37inch hips but for comfort Wear size 12 ... have larger waist ... this made me look Huge ... did nothing for me .. so sent it back Such a shame as I love the material and colour.

This is a lovely lace skirt and I am really pleased with the length as I like to hide my legs! I agree about the zipper - I'm not sure I like it, therefore given 4 stars. I bought the black skirt and it is really elegant. It is a little on the big side, however, it feels comfortable.

the lace is very pretty and I really loved the zip detail at the back. However the skirt was really long on me and made me look as wide as I am tall. Shame.

Agree with all the other comments about the exposed rear zip. I bought this in black, and from the front, it's an elegant, ladylike skirt, a great 'vintage' shape and a perfect fit one size down from my usual one. Length was a perfect mid-calf on my 5ft 3in. However, from the back, the exposed zip, which really stands out and doesn't sit flush with the fabric, creates an odd shape and look. Even worse, while I was trying this on, the rough teeth on the zip snagged the light jersey top I was wearing. Please, M&S, avoid unnecessary embellishments that ruin the look of otherwise stylish garments!

Purchased this skirt for a wedding absolutely gorgeous looks much more expensive and looks amazing on.

Could your buyers please look at this skirt especially the zip at the back. I can only assume there is a mistake in the instructions to the people making up the skirts. You don,t put in a zip backwards like this. It looks ugly and totally out of keeping with the skirt. I personally would order a recall immediately because as it is it certainly reflects very badly on your fashion department.

From the front this skirt is elegant and exactly what I was looking for as an evening / going out skirt. Then I turned it over and noticed 'the zip'. I realise now if I'd looked at the pictures more carefully there is a photo of the zip visible but until you see it up close you don't realise how obvious it really is. It would have been so easy to put in an invisible zip and give this skirt an elegant finish. Sorry it's gone back.
