Hey Seb and Ryan Just happened to read your reviews and thought you might find this useful. So the discolouration you mention and show in the photos Seb are sweat stains. I’m bald and wear hats every day. Being bald you sweat a lot more and my hats suffer the same fate so I hand wash and soak them about every 2 weeks. It’s nothing wrong with the hats, just sweat stains from repeated usage. If you soak them in a bucket with a mixture of your washing powder plus a couple scoops baking soda and a healthy pour of vinegar you’ll find sweat stains will come out. I also have the same issue as seb, the hat developed a dark stain in the same place as seb's. Mine is blue and it is still very noticeable. I have tried to clean it but to no avail. Otherwise it's a great hat, great fit and comfortable, but due to the stain it's no longer worn.

I liked mine until one about two weeks on and it developed dark discolouring, which cannot be cleaned in any way. I started with recommended cloth with some soap then submerged it in soapy water and tried to wash it this way, but the patch just remains. It's not from the sweat as that would wash off so even though cap is a good fit and I really like it, due to this discolouring I don't feel comfortable wearing it anymore.

I bought this last year and it’s my favourite hat it fit me perfectly unfortunately I lost it but it is the best hat I have ever owned hands down
