A pale gold, refreshingly full flavoured, beer with citrus aromas and a light malt finish with a hint of resinous pine.
It is a "Cornish twist" on traditional India Pale Ales (IPAs) using locally grown malted barley, plenty of North American hops and Cornish spring water. The result is an extremely smooth and enticing full flavoured beer. St Austell Brewery has grown steadily from the initial vision of a young Cornishman called Walter Hicks in 1851 to become one of the largest private companies in Cornwall. Still an independent, family owned regional brewer, St Austell Brewery has become part of the fabric of the South West.

I just love this HOPPY beer. I even went to the brewery to compliment them (whilst i was in the area!) A 330ml option would be nice - but hey! i will still buy it. I love it

Really good quality IPA
Yes, I recommend this
Tried this IPA, well., I like it so much, I ordered a case of it on the M&S website, really really good ale. I will say this though., if you're going to have more than 3 or 4 of an evening, make sure you don't have an early start the next day. it's well made and really enjoyable.. Good value ale - I would seriously recommend it. The only thing to remember is that you do have the little tiny bits at the bottom of your bottle as it's bottle conditioned... So leave a thimble of beer in your glass at the end of your drink or bottle. Ale.. the way it should taste.

This has genuinely become one of my favourite beers! It's nicely bottle conditioned, hoppy and refreshing. Tends to be my staple beer now that I have around the house for when people come over for barbeques!

St Austell at their best - Again
Yes, I recommend this
I suspect that this IPA is actually Proper Job, St Austells great pale beer voted best bottled Ale by CAMRA in 2011. That just about says it - pale, full of citrus and hops and one of the best beers you can get in a bottle. Highly recommended.
