Comfortable nightie
I really wanted another long sleeved nightie, but as this was greatly reduced in the sale and a pretty colour I bought it. The cotton material is very soft and is nice to sleep in.

I am happy with this nightdress, it is quite a thick material, and I’m not sure I will wear it in the hot weather, but it is pretty. The sizing tends to come up a little short, so don’t expect extra room.

Very sadly I’m returning this nightie as it isn’t right for me. On the plus side, it’s a pretty rosebud pattern on pale blue 100% jersey cotton and it’s a good long length. However.. as some other reviewers have noted, the neckline is cut high and for me it lies above the base of my neck. Personally I prefer a scoop or v-neck so I don’t feel anything in the neck area. Great to have 100% cotton and there is some stretch but it’s a thick material and I imagine would be too cosy in warmer weather when I’d be wearing short sleeves. I’d suggest you try this item on before deciding it’s right for you. Good luck!

Very itchy seam from the neck and down around your shoulder blades. These are being made with a new pattern which is shame. The actual material is very comfortable and good quality, but the thick seam leads to an itchy, sleepless night.

Normally I get my nightwear from M & S (100% cotton) Unfortunately this purchase the quality was not good. The cotton was not the soft cotton feeling it has been with previous purchases. Very disappointing.
