Classic Collar Pleated Shirt

I love this shirt. Looks great, 3/4 sleeves mean it can be worn in the summer and winter, too. Great value, easy to iron. Fits very well, flattering style and no bra on show! Also doesn't pull over my hips which is something I was struggling a bit with before. So GREAT GREAT GREAT, I wish I could buy more colours.

Unlike shirts from other shops this does not gape at the bust. I'm a size 12-14 with 32G bust and all other shirts gape unless I buy a much bigger size. This shirt just sits nicely and looks very smart. The colour is pale blue as opposed to the one shown but I bought it knowing that. The fabric is good quality and the garment is well made.

Like the shirt but could have been a slightly better fit. Am happy on the whole though. Just wish M & S would do the quality and fit and styles they used to do years ago.

The colours shown for the pink and blue shirts are nothing like the ones I received !! They were pale blue and pale pink which might be what some people would like but I was very disappointed.

Good staple shirt for work. As mentioned by other reviews arms are a little tight.

. Now understand why so keenly priced..poor quality cotton virtually see through. If you are busty stay away from shaped blouses therefore making it a poor fit.

Stylish and comfortable and looks good for a reasonable price

These black shirts are fantastic value for money....they wash well, dry quickly, and need no ironing. What's not to like????? I have three. They are true to size....they are supposed to be fairly close fitting, but having said that, I went one size up, as I prefer a looser fit, especially during the hot summer months.

Practical, yet comfortable for work.

I tried this on alongside several more expensive white M&S shirts, but found that this one was a winner in terms of fit, style and quality - so the great price felt like a bonus! Unlike other reviewers I don't find the sleeves tight - and I am not particularly slender. The fabric is lovely, and the pleats on the cuffs are a great touch. The only reason I gave it 4 for fit is that it takes a bit of fiddling to get the collar to sit properly. But overall, an excellent buy which will get lots of wearing.

Brilliant purchase! When my daughter landed her first part-time job as a waitress and was instructed to get a black shirt with 3/4 length sleeves, I said " M&S - all the styles in all the colours and all the sizes!" After we'd visited all her favourite fashion stores in vain, off we went to M&S and there was the perfect waitress blouse, as if it had been made to her manager's specifications! Beautifully fitted, easy to wash and priced right for workwear at just £12.50. Recommended for waitresses everywhere!
