Purchased this as part of the 3 step range for oily skin. I used it as directed for 2 weeks and my skin was extremely dry and flaky yet even oilier than before! It seemed as if it was stripping the oils so much it was drying and causing my skin to create more oil to make up for it. I have since stopped using the Clinique products and within a week, my skin has improved already.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear that this Clarifying Lotion has left the skin even oilier and flaky, when applying this with cotton wool I recommend a small amount swept over the skin once only, in conjunction with your 3 step skin care routine. Of course I understand that would prefer to stop using the products as your skin has improved.

Fantasic, I've got very oily skin. I used to find my foundation would start to slide of about 11-12 oclock, but this product hasn't dried my skin but has removed all of the excess oils I had on my face. I've found my face is a lot brighter, smoother, clearer and more softer. I deffinetly recomend this product!

I tried this one after I'd been using the anti blemish lotion and my skin had improved. I found this one to smell of chemicals and it left my skin really shiny after use. Although it didn't make my skin worse I won't buy again.

I have only started using Clinique 3 step for a few days and i am really in love so much! It makes my skin clean,clear and no oily shiny skin after wearing make up all day. The clarifying lotion takes of so much dirt after you have used step 1! Makes your skin feel clear and clean and looks it to without feeling tight and dried out. Only problem is it's smell but well worth putting up with for a few seconds.

I bought this alongside with the other products in the "3 step-skincare system", which i love. This product cleans the skin leaving it feeling tingling and fresh. However the smell of the product is distinctive, by this i mean that it smells harsh, which is a downside.
