Red Wine

Yes, I recommend this

Purchased this wine as a gift for my brother-in-law so hope he enjoys it. We purchased a bottle for ourselves previously and were very pleased with it. We thought it was very smooth.

Excellent traditional claret

Yes, I recommend this

This has fully lived up to the reviews that I read before buying. I’m becoming a true fan of both medoc and haut medoc. This is a fine example of what I call a “traditional” Bordeaux claret - not overly fruity like the New World wines, but more subtle and complex. Very nice.

Stunning Bordeaux Red

Yes, I recommend this

I am a great fan of the wines of the Northern Medoc; which represent great value for money. Let’s face it not everyone can afford Chateau Margaux..! Back to the review of this wine. The wine has great structure and backbone with a stylish Red berry nose. The ripe fruit lingers on the palate with soft tannins. A classy wine for the price; which punches above its price tag. I will be buying a few more bottles ready for Christmas! Highly recommended..! Let’s hope M&S wine buyers purchase more Medoc’s!

Disappointing

No, I don't recommend this

Following a review by the zoo keepers on Saturday Morning with James Martin, I was desperate to try this wine. I found for two Saturdays it was out of stock at our local M&S (Hempstead Valley). Then to my delight I found it at Bluewater. Excited to get it home and try it with my fillet steak I was so disappointed that it tasted like vinegar and not fruity or with any hint of vanilla as described. I can only imagine how bad the other two wines were that they tasted! I will not be buying this wine again. I can't risk trying another bottle at that price!

New fav Bordeaux

Yes, I recommend this

This wine is beautiful! I like picking the new wines when I see them in store, especially when it's Bordeaux. Very soft, sophisticated wine. A real treat, and great value!
