Chenille Checked Throw

I needed some nice, cosy throws for my two, two seater leather sofas & saw these. They'll be lovely for the winter months & fit snuggley into my lounge decor. I'm happy:)

I really love this throw and it was great until I tried washing it. Threads pulled and twisted and it's never been the same again. I will be buying another one as I like the design so much but will take it to be dry cleaned next time!!

Very pleased with the look, feel and colour of these. Put them on our chairs but bits coming off so decided to put through 30 degree gentle wash. Big mistake! Came out pulled, loops of material hanging out and all bunched up and looking very tatty. Tassles also pulled out. Clearly not machine washable although label clearly states they are up to 40 degree. Not impressed! We will be returning these and getting our money back. NOT a good buy. Very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.

Loved the look of the throw and upon arrival it seemed the perfect choice. But the real pity is that this throw is NOT machine washable. Following a gentle wash, on a tried and trusted programme, I was shocked to see that the throw was full of pulls and catches. It was barely recognizable as the item it once was.

I was delighted when I spotted the duck egg blue throw, just what I was looking for to accessories my conservatory. Even though the care label states that this throw is washable, sadly it isn't. The fibres pulled and looped very disappointed.

I'm not using item until September but based on colours, softness and style it looks good. Unusual to get a burgundy/rust/caramel throw, exactly what I wanted. However, being as I have yet to judge it in use, washed and dried, I shall reserve a full judgement on it's laundering facilities. As long as colour doesn't leech onto a cream leather suite I shall be a very happy bunny.

I bought the throw for my elderly relative. Nice colours. It was not as soft as I thought it would be but she is happy with it. It is a shame it does not come in a smaller size.

I purchased the duck egg coloured throws and the colours and tones are really super. Look great in our room. Feel really nice, good quality throws

This is a really nice throw and looks lovely on my sofa. Would look equally good on a bed.

This is very soft and covers a large double bed. Quality is good although I have yet to wash it. My dog absolutely loves it.

I was given the red check throw as a Christmas present and have had it on my main sofa since then. At first I noticed a few fibres shedding from the fringe, but nothing much and that has since stopped. The throw is warm and comfortably soft, yet seems to be able to cling to the sofa so that it doesn't need re-positioning very often, something which has been a problem with other throws in the past. It is a good size for our 3 seater sofa. We love it so much that we decided to buy an extra one for another sofa, but had to wait a while for the throw to be back in stock. We at last now have our new one! At first I felt it wasn't as soft as the first one, but since using and sitting on it for over a week it has now softened as much as our older original, which still looks as good as our new one. We'd definitely recommend this throw to others!

My lounge chairs looked shabby. The Chenille Check throw is lovely as the colours go with the books in the new bookshelves my husband made. Sounds silly but it is just the right colours for the books, which have old brown leather and red leather covers. Thanks to M&S again
