Checked Slim Leg Trousers

I spotted these trousers in store and really loved the look and feel of them, even though they’re not what I’d usually wear. I ordered them online when stocks were running out. I’d usually buy an 8 regular but I went for a long as there weren’t any left in regular, and I noticed someone else mentioned they come up short. They go well with cream, black, plum..... They fit perfectly, aren’t too long, are beautifully warm and lined. This is the quality Marks & Spencer were well known for in the past. Please take note M&S, and offer more beautiful clothes with this quality!

I liked the trousers but fit was too big so I exchanged the 12 for a 10 and the longer length the longer lentgth is perfect for the winter for me as I feel the cold. As with all your trousers the waist is a little too large. That said I am happy with them and the fabric and style is are very good. I'm sure I will enjoy wearing them.

These trousers are so comfortable and very good quality My normal size was a bit snug so I sized up.

Lovely to think at the age of 79 l can still find fashionable clothes to fit me perfectly.

Like the current trend for more interesting trousers and these looked good on the website although in reality the material is thick and bulky nice enough just wasn’t what I was expecting. They are nicely finished and lined and the colours are nice just didn’t like the fabric

These are lined warm trousers ideal for Winter. The only downside is that they are designed and ankle grazers so are quite short. I overcame this by purchasing a longer length than I would do normally. Who wants cold ankles in Winter? The trousers lie beautifully and are slim fitting. Stock availability is a bit hit and miss. I had to research on line where the size I required was in stock in one of the shops, as none were available at my local M&S shops or online.

Nice wool trousers with full lining so great for winter. I’m only 5ft so got short length - they are longer on me than the model, they reach my ankle, I’d love them a little shorter but they are ok.

The wool trousers wrinkle over the lining making them feel a bit odd - undecided whether to return them as I like the colour

The chequered material is a lovely mix of green, blue and burgundy. The material is very thick which will be good for cold winters although they are ankle grazers so I bought a long fit so that I could wear them with socks. I am usually an 8-10 bottoms but M&S sizes always come up large so I went for a 6 but this was still too wide even though the length was good. The material is very thick (which can make you appear larger than you are) but of lovely quality and the trousers are lined. However the wool still manages to itch through the lining which is mildly annoying at best. Overall a good quality trouser but rather expensive. I bought the regular version and have kept them.

Very warm and, thank goodness, lined trousers. Like another reviewer, I'm 5' 6" and did not want ankle grazers for the winter so I plumped for the long length. Well made with an unusual pattern. Particularly like the mix including burgundy. Went up a size for comfort and layering and am pleased that I did as the trousers are tailored and quite close fitting (generous around the hips, though). Not inexpensive but worth the cost because of the excellent quality and evident durability. Agree with other reviewers that this classic garment is a return to the high standard once always expected of M&S and appreciated by customers.

Beautiful fit and lovely fabric weight ideal for winter months. Great mix of colours - burgundy bottle cream and cream. Really warm. I originally purchased them in store but found I had selected the incorrect length and then ordered on-line. Looking forward to wearing them when the weather is colder. I wish you had produced a burgundy cashmere jumper to wear with the trousers.

Perfect fit, good quality and very warm as lined so will be great in the cold weather. Colours are great too.
