Checked Satin Long Skirt

This is lovely skirt, very slimming style. It is a dark colour, so needs a light or bright top with it. It is fully lined and hangs very well. It is not actually winter weight, but looks good so will keep it.

I was very disappointed with this item because it did not hang well at the hem even after I pressed it. I have returned it.

This is a good skirt for a winter wardrobe. It hangs well and the fit is good. I like the quality and the comfort of the elasticated waistband and the fact that it is well lined. I like that there is a choice of length which I always find beneficial. It is a little dull and my husband said I would fit in well with the elderly ladies from the religious community that live nearby which has taken the shine off the pleasure of a new purchase a bit. However with the right accessories I think it suits a winter wardrobe well.

I did not order this for my Aunt as despite the skirt being an attractive grey/on grey in the photo it was listed as taupe. Also the first reviewer referred to it as taupe, well after seeing it in the local store I can assure you that it is grey - exactly as per the photo. Lovely dark charcoal with a silvery grey overtrace pattern. Good sizing and very well made, my Aunt found it most flattering on and has already worn it with a cerise top - planning to wear it tomorrow with a purple top. Strongly recommended.

This is a lovely skirt which has a lining it has a comfortable elasticated waistband, the colour is a taupe background with a checked satin finish ,which looks very attractive, the skirt is very well made and sizing is accurate, a very flattering skirt to wear which will go with a variety of tops in my wardrobe
