This is a lovely dress. Well made, true to size on body. But arms too long. I am 5ft 3” and have had to turn up sleeves by 2.5”. Adds nice colour as wine coloured ,ining but hems show. However would recommend as comfy, as well as stylish. Please M&S, sleeve lengths on many items too long for normal mortals!

Loved this dress, as usual bought a size 22 but it was far too tight, so ordered a size 24, that was too tight. When I compared one against the other, there was only about 1cm difference in the sizes. So both were returned.

I had been looking for a suitable dress for the winter. This is the only one I liked in the store, the others either had cheap material, or were not what I considered warm. This had everything going for it and when I tried it at home it was I was looking for and I am very pleased

Seam across middle of dress where pockets are was not sewn in a straight line with one pocket being higher than the other. On a dress with a check pattern it looked absolutely terrible.

Maybe I should have sized up. However, I usually take a 10 in M&S dresses. Unfortunately my arms squeezed into the sleeves like sausages. I do quite a lot of gym work and have muscle definition but my arms are not particularly large. Just the wrong dimensions for me I guess.

I had the same issue as other reviews...I got this dress in both checked and black, and annoyingly both completely different fits. The checked dress seemed tighter and a lot shorter than the black dress. Such a shame as I really loved the look of these dresses. The black one hangs and lacks shape around the waist, the checked dress is tight and short... Not worth buying unfortunately, I will be returning.

I purchased this and the black dress, both dresses were described as being 98 cm from neck to hem, both designs the same but different colour I tried the black on and loved the length, was excited to try this check one on and it was 2" shorter!! Returned! Come on Marks and Spencer not good enough
