Cashmilon™ Beret Hat

I bought this beret in black, knowing it would look nice with most colours. Having purchased the same item last year in white (slightly different weave to the knit) I thought this would be exactly the same size and shape - it certainly looked it when I picked it up in store. However, this particular hat is not as good a fit as my existing one. My head is average sized, but I find this one to be ever so slightly too tight, and I am forever trying to adjust it to make it feel more comfy. which I find a bit of a nuisance. I do still wear it, but not as often as I would have liked. Having said that, it's a really nice item for the price and the quality is good too. I probably should have tried it on before I paid for it, but I's say go for it, if like me you love wearing your hats in the Winter...

Great beret hat for this coming winter. Bought as I needed a smart hat for new coat and scarf. Big enough to keep your ears warm. Great Buy!

I was looking for a plain black beret and found this little gem - when I ordered it online with 20% off I really wasn't expecting much! but was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice fit, not at all skimpy, or too big to look ridiculous, the material is soft that I now wish I had bought one in the red as well. Possibly my best buy in M & S this year, and it just reinforces my belief that M & S do plain coloured classics best.

This is a nice hat for the price although I did find it big and I don't have a particularly small head but great value and nice colour - I got the pale pink.

I don't see why this Cashmilon has been trademarked, it's a quite ordinary acrylic and acrylic really isn't a good fibre. It's warm enough for not too cold temperatures, but a little below zero acrylic just doesn't cut it. However, the style, fit and texture of this hat is brilliant. It's annoyingly difficult to find soft, somewhat slouchy berets this season, and I'm overjoyed to have found one that works so well. If the same style had been available in wool I would have stocked up! I bought this in both black and red. The colour of the red is quite like the colour in the picture - more of a raspberry tone than bright red.

I wear hats all through winter & like my beret & beanie styles to be quite a baggy fit. This beret is perfect in fit (not too loose or tight around the head) softness & quality. If like me, you have lots of long hair, you can bundle your hair up in this beret too..no problem. Bargain price. Bought in cream & pink - the pink is more like mauve-pink to me. Will buy in red & black too before they're all gone!

I bought this hat in black and there was a 20% off offer on at the time, so for just £4 this hat was an absolute bargain. Have worn it for a walk out in the cold weather and as well as looking good, it kept my head and ears nice and warm. Would highly recommend, even for £5 it is fantastic value.

I liked this so much I bought Pale Pink, Black and Cream, great price, very warm but don't take up much space if you want to keep it in a pocket or bag, also as they aren't heavy they don't give you a hat head!!

I don't normally write reviews but this hat is worth it. I was searching for a perfect hat since I am an adult - for the past 15 years - and only now, finally I found it. The hat is perfect, light enough, not too flumsy, fits well, can be worn in different styles (beret style or beanie style), good value for money. I will be buying the second one as I am terrified if I lost it. This is the first hat that I am actually looking at myself in the mirror and think "yes, I look lovely". Great buy.

This is a very stylish beret for the excellent price tag. I know I will be wearing this a lot during the next few cold months. The size is very generous so doesn't flatten my hair like some other hats I have.

I love these berets and this year I chose the red one which is a lovely shade. The beret is warm and comfortable to wear giving good head and ear coverage. It is quite versatile in that you can wear it in different ways. For example towards the crown, pulled forward on to the forehead or on the side. I would love one in chocolate brown.

I love wearing hats and especially berets so I bought two in the shop while I was there as they were such good value. I've seen very similar berets in much more expensive shops (costing £30+), but defy anyone to tell the difference! I can't believe how nice they are and how comfy an warm. I'm now thinking about buying the two other colours and I think I'd still have four hats for the price of one!

Soft and warm beret, can be worn in different ways. I bought pink (as read from another useful review, it was a light purple rather than pinkish) and red. The new image shown online shows the right red now. When I purchased, it was a bright red online.Which came in different in mail, a darker shade of red quite like the pic shown now. Still, not bad colour, wearable. Easycare. Price is such a deal, especially got them on discount.
