Expensive but I researchec tin openers & this one came tops. Easy to use. Rounds off the sharp edges. Lid pops out if opener so no spills, no cuts, no stringy paper bit. I hope it lasts!

Have really struggled to find a good tin opener - this looked a really nice design and a good make. Maybe a bit expensive but ‘you get what you pay for’. First time it was used it was brilliant and worked perfectly. Second time (tin of marmalade) it wouldn’t work at all - couldn’t cope with the ‘lip’ on the tin so it’s gone back in the drawer with all the other useless openers. Back to the drawing board.

Great for standard size tins that you can grip. Very difficult to use on smaller tins ( eg tuna cans) where you can’t grip firmly.

An interesting approach to the problem of opening tins that does not rely on a good grip. Cutting below the rim, it leaves a sharp edge to the tin, so care needed. Effective

Cut hazard
Works well - but does so by shearing the top off the can below the rim - leaving a vert sharp edge. Not good to have that floating around in the recycling.

It is a clever device to open tins. I've only used it on two so far. The problem is you need to be strong to rotate the cutter. My wife has difficulty with it

I've only given it 2 stars as I had to go round the tin twice and it still wouldn't open properly.Maybe I bought a dud one. Will stick to my old hand one in future!!
