An emerging gem for Argentina, grown in the Uco Valley where altitude gives the grapes depth and vibrancy.
In the late 1990s, Cabernet Franc vines were planted at about 1,500m above sea level at the foot of the Andes, in Argentina. It was first vinified to give more structure to the popular Malbecs but it was soon realised that the potential of the grape was very high, offering very different flavours and textures to Cabernet Franc grown elsewhere. Try it with traditional 'empañadas' tasty filled pastry pockets or steak 'chimichurri' made with parsley, oregano, garlic and red pepper.

Wanted to try one of the new ‘found’ wines. Really enjoyed this one. Lovely fruity taste and smell.
