As the heatwave begins to feel like a distant memory, it’s time to start looking forward to cosy knits and statement jackets for autumn. It’s my favourite time of year, when the leaves start to fall and the air is filled with the smell of freshly-lit fireplaces signalling the cold weather ahead.
For the first drop of autumn, I’ve selected a few pieces that will take you through the trans-seasonal period. Tell me you aren’t instantly eyeing up this skirt? I’ve let it do all the talking in this outfit. I will wear endlessly throughout autumn and winter mixed with a classic cashmere knit and a coat. I think this is my favourite look of the bunch.”
