Good quality, thick curtains.
Yes, I recommend this
The curtains are much thicker than I had anticipated so when drawn back they bunch up. However when drawn together they are fine. May be better to hang on a pole but that is not an option in our house.

Excellent insulation
Yes, I recommend this
While the range of colours is beyond boring, the insulation is spectacular and keep that cold at bay.

Not the same colour as on the site
they're brown, not champagne. Not very happy at all.

Can't belive believe how thick the lining is on these curtains and what good value they are

On the dark side
No, I don't recommend this
No problem with quality, efficiency, etc it's just that I ordered Champagne curtain colour. When hung the curtains are far removed from the colour photo online. A dreary brownish colour is what I see. Have ordered non thermal curtains in Champagne some years back and they were what you would expect.

Not Ideal
No, I don't recommend this
These curtains which I bought two pair of and are now in use, unfortunately look and hang crap. They don't gather well when trying to form the pencil pleats they more like ruffles , so they don't hang well when layering them, and as far as getting the creases out of them with the iron impossible, I unpacked them and layed them over a rail for a week to see if that would help take the creases out or even help before I ironed them. Anyway I decided to use them anyway so they are in use in my bedroom they are great as a blackout curtain. And I won't have to look at them until I go to bed. I have made to measure curtains in my living/dining room from M&S and they are excellent and that's what I should have done in this case.

Black out thermal curtains
No, I don't recommend this
Bought two sets of these curtains opened the smaller of the two full of creases spent 2 hours ironing as advised ending up wetting a tea towel to try and get the bad ones out put them up they still have some creases in hopefully they will fall out. Whoever is packing your curtains needs to be told I have had a lot of curtains and have never had curtains that were so creased. I took the bigger ones back for a refund never opening them as I could not face ironing them. Come on MS what has happened to your quality control

Great quality
These are great quality, well made curtains. Very heavy, and do the job perfectly, keeping out the light and keeping in the warmth . A lovely soft feel . Really good fit the price , I would definitely recommend.

These are the worst curtains I’ve ever bought
No, I don't recommend this
This material and thickness of the curtains do not gather nicely, no matter what you do they look uneven and crumpled when gathered. More than that the fabric of the curtains even after you steam hold every single crease. These are just the most shocking curtains, they look cheap and they not fit for purpose.

I brought these curtains to match same I'd brought circa 2020 to complete large bay window hangings. The curtains I had brought previously were very good.

Yes, I recommend this
The curtains are lovely, thick to the touch and functional, as the description states it keeps the heat in. There is some sort of plastic inner layer which faces the wall and is what keeps the heat in I believe. The outward facing side of the curtain has a great aesthetic (once ironed to remove the creases from the packaging), the material looks more expensive than the price, I bought a pair in colour champagne which complimented my magnolia walls and navy, charcoal , silver and grey furniture. I would recommend, especially for the price.

Extra thermal but also extra heavy.
No, I don't recommend this
Not sure about these: love their being extra thermal but they will require at least two persons to hang & Im not convinced the curtain rails are made with this weight in mind. So I’m not going to risk it + I prefer the texture of the velvet alternatives.

Great curtains, super thick. I bought the pencil pleat which are difficult to gather as the fabric is quite thick, they should be easier to gather if using eyelets but my poles are too thick for eyelets. I would have liked more colour choices.
