Bronze Goddess Highlighting Powder Gelée

I normally have the Pure Colour Envy in "Lovers Blush" but fancied a bit of a change. So I bought his in "Modern Mercury" and I am not disappointed. Its fab, gives me a gorgeous shimmer on my cheeks and a bit swished across my eyes just perks them up for the day. I love it!

I love finishing off my makeup with this bronzer. Honestly, I sometimes just use the bronzer (only) with some mascara and looks great for those laid back days. This is a must have to your makeup routine.

I have around 20 or so highlighters, mostly high endbut this is an easy call for a top 5 position because plain and simple, this highlighter is STUNNING. Most other highlighters are abominations in her presence. Who could sit beside her as an equal? - Dior - Ofra - Anastasia Beverly Hills (gelee formula, not powder palettes) - Nars (MAC extra dimension skin finish just misses out due to emphasised texture)

This product gives my skin a beautiful sheen and glow.

I've used this product for years and love it. However, when I re-ordered it this time was, so surprised at the very small size container. The current one I have is .74 oz, the new one is only .31! Why change the size? And I suspect the price remained the same or maybe a bit less? Perhaps there are. Ow 2 sizes, but there never was before and I was not prompted to select a size.

With pale skin and green eyes I've always avoided bronzers (they go dirty or muddy on me, usually, no matter the brand) and in my late 40s I'm particularly careful, but Modern Mercury is magical. I bought a full size after trying it in last holiday's color promotion and that's a first. I use it on minimal days with a bit of concealer and lip balm, swept on like blush and over lids, or on more made-up days as a bit of sheen to soften a smoky eye. It's not something I'd usually spend on-I spend here on skincare, primarily and gladly, and enjoy the color promotions, but was happy to find this available in a full size. It makes mature skin (nearly 48) glow as though I'd been sailing in the afternoon, and has been a boon through the dark winter months. If the sheen worries you (and it's not glittery or anything like it-more like softly burnished antique gold with a warm glow that also has cool hues of rose-the chemists there are magicians- use a big brush and a little product, and give yourself the gift of glowing skin that you work so hard to take care of with product and SPF and hats...it's gorgeous. I couldn't be more delighted, and going into summer (with a medical condition that doesn't permit any sun exposure) under hats and SPF 100 it's a wonderful feeling to know I'll look as healthy as I'm keeping my internals. I'm new to the highlighter scene, but I actually quite like this. I'm not entirely sure how I should be using it, but I often just wear it with my CC Creme on the areas generally exposed to the sun for a healthy sunkissed glow, I have fair skin so don't want to use a heavy bronzer. I think it gives me a more youthful look. My stepmother is obsessed with it, every time I wear it she says my skin "looks beautiful"!

This is a fine product but a little too much shine for me. To be completely honest, I mostly ordered it because the case looked so beautiful and it is! I'm going to try the matte one.

This beauty of a highlighter is a bit of a cult classic for me I feel in love with it back in 2011. I'm overjoyed to see modern mercury returning this year. It is the perfect rose gold tone and for me not just a highlighter, I'll use it as an eyeshadow and also a little touch on the centre of my lips on top of a matte lipstick. It also has the beautiful bronze goddess scent. I'd say it's a summer must have for every age to have in their make up collection

One of the best highlighters!! I got the heatwave and it's literally the best highlighter ever!! It's just so glowy doesn't have shimmer or glitter. Doesn't look cheap! Makes your skin look natural and glowy!
