Boys' Classic Tailored Fit Senior Blazer with Stormwear+™ (Older Boys)

If you are looking for a black school blazer, do not go for this. It is brown/black and my son would not wear it. Very disappointing.

I tried without success to get this blazer for the new term after the summer holidays but bought the fashion one instead. What a disappointment,it looked quite smart on ,but does not compare to the classic one,which can be washed and put in the dryer and be ready to wear,the fashion one stayed creased and didn't look much better when ironed.

The colour of this jacket is brown black. It does not match the black of the trousers sold separately. Sadly, gone back to M&S for refund.

Brilliant jacket. Fits well and a proper NAVY. Why oh why are you changing the product. Apparently you are doing the Viscose and poly one instead of this one. THAT ONE ISN'T NAVY. This one is. I have recomended this to friends but now you cant get this one. You can however get it in Black. Maybe thats because the Navy one is more popular now why didn't M&S think of that.

My son said this blazer wasn't a deep black compared to his friends,,, I checked and he was right. Shame as nice fit but colour just not dark enough!

After trailing every shop for a black blazer m&s stated they had black,bought it ,took it home and looked at it properly and it was DARK BROWN !!!! Not what is stated at all,, ended up going to John Lewis,same price,better quality and BLACK

I have to agree with the other reviews. The colour of the blazer is brown not black. It is very noticeable even to my 12 year old who doesn't notice much about his school uniform. The rear seam has also split at the bottom, it is impossible to mend as the lining seals the blazer and you cannot get to the inside of it to mend it without it showing. Very poor.

My son's have to wear a blazer in secondary school and these are the perfect fit and style and are very smart. They also have the internal pockets for their bits and pieces. I have twin 15 year olds and I always come back for these, in total I have bought six over the last four years. Recommended.

I bought this Blazer because I s looking for a good quality jacket for my son for school. This did not disappoint me. It's a good fit and the fabric feels really smooth.

Pleased with the sizing and quality of the blazer. I agree with other comments that there is a slightly brown tinge to the black material. But this is not very noticeable and my son is perfectly happy with it. The blazer does seem to be water resistant and crease resistant which is important in a jacket that is worn every day to school.

we bought lots of these jackets for our schools in Ukraine. the quality is very good. compared with Ukrainian brands it is just perfect, but the colour does not match with the trousers neither in black, nor in navy. In black it looks brown and it's not so bad, but in navy the blazer is much darker, then the trousers ans does not match at all! I wish to buy a wool-blend blazer next year

I wanted to purchase one of these blazers online to avoid the trip to a store, but the fact that the sizing convention for the garment differs from the sizing convention in the size guide means I am unable to select the apropriate sized garment. The waste of time and frustration that incompetence such as this causes is incredibly annnoying and not what one would expect from a company with the reputation of M&S - Verdict: Must try harder!

I was very disappointed with the blazer. Inside the home it looks black but when you step outside, in the light, it looks brown. My son complained the first day he wore it to school and continues to do so four days after starting school. His friends constantly comment that his blazer is brown and now he wants me to buy a new one. What a waste of money.

I am so disappointed with this blazer. What has M&S done to their blazers?? I have bought a lovely wool mix blazer for my son for the last two years for secondary school. This one is nasty polyester. I love the fact their blazers wash and tumble well, the 'Stormwear' element is good but I want a softer, better quality blazer. I'm quite prepared to pay more, Not happy and with regret it will probably go back. The slim fit, wool mix, senior trousers are great - lovely heavy material. Please M&S can we have a blazer the same as the trousers.
