Bounceback 13.5 Tog Duvet

Having done my homework to find a good duvet I opted for this one going by reviews I have had previous duvets that were more expensive and I definitely would recommend this one Excellent value and excellent heat Can’t comment on washing as it’s new

I bought this as a replacement for another M&S duvet, believing it was roughly the same as the previous one, but the quality is awful. I did read other reviews saying it was noisy and not great, but naively thought these may be from users not used to synthetic duvets, I was wrong. This duvet is cheaper in quality then the next level down microfibre duvet from M&S which has stitched edging and is softer to touch. The edges on this one are heat sealed and not sewn, leaving sharp plastic edges and a poor quality finish that was already failing at the seams when I unwrapped it. And bizarrely it does feel and sound kind of squeaky, as the other reviewers mentioned, as well as stiff and cheap. If I had nothing to compare it to I may have not noticed, but as I was swapping out the other duvet the difference was incredibly obvious. M&S gave a no quibbles refund as they are wonderful with their customer service, so now I am going to try to replace with the anti-allergy one which is an investment price but has great reviews (I will check the edging before unwrapping it), and if that fails the microfibre one which is cheaper and super soft (from the sample I tested in store). Please be warned that a couple of their duvets are now heat sealed with sharp edges which is not mentioned in the product descriptions.

I am very pleased with the duvet as its super light but is still very warm and cosy. Ideal for our ever changing climate.
