Black Cow Vodka - Single Bottle

Sorry, this item is no longer available
A distinctive and uniquely creamy vodka made entirely from cows’ milk. With its smooth texture and rounded, soft finish, this is great cocktail vodka.
Devised by Dorset dairy farmer Jason Barber, Black Cow vodka is made entirely from grass-fed cows’ milk from Jason’s own 250-strong herd. In the dairy, once the milk has been separated into curds and whey, the curds are used to make cheese, while the whey is turned into vodka using a unique process that distills it into a fine spirit using a special (and secret) blending method. To finish, the vodka is triple filtered before bottling to give it its pure, unadulterated character.

Unusual & delicious

I don't agree with one review, this is a distinctive vodka for sipping. I love the story of the production of this vodka and I am keen to support farmers who are producing innovative products through diversification. Try it with a good cows cheese, This is an excellent vodka and deserves my five stars!

A Milk Vodka.

It's interesting gimmick aside this is one of the better vodkas at it's price range however it struggles in overall palette to distinguish itself from other vodkas. Whilst good quality, if you were hoping for a vodka that distinguishes itself through it's base product, this isn't for you.

Discovered this a few years ago whilst out for dinner with friends in Somerset. Lovely stufff. A single measure of Black Cow and a single measure of elderflower cordial in a champagne flute, topped up with prosecco. Delicious. Known in our home as 'A Mad Cow'. Try it - you'll love it!
