Description and bulb recommendation inaccurate

Whilst I like the lamp overall the wording of the description isn’t great. It recommends a candle bulb which I bought and once in place it sticks out beyond the actual shade which is a great look and the shade is therefore useless as it’s shading nothing.

Perfect for what I was looking for. As I read other reviews before purchase, obtained a rounded light bulb (not the candle type recommended) and fits perfectly. The blurb also says it's dimmable but isn't, just had an on/off switch. Great light, great price.

Really pretty soft and matt shade (sage). Looks lovely on my dressing table with a small M and S succulent next to it. I can finally see to put my makeup on! Amazing price for the quality.

I like this lamp but I do not find it at all useful.I purchased the recommended bulb...it sticks out about an inch above the edge of the lamp.giving a blinding light...I could use a bare bulb and have the same result.

Lovely lamp but WHAT BULB?
The image shows the bulb within the lampshade. We bought the candle bulbs as stated online and on the lamp. This protrudes from the lampshade. As these were intended as bedside lamps, this was not suitable. I emailed the help department who said all they knew was what the online description says. They suggested I buy globe bulbs, which appears to be what is in the image. This is a great improvement. BUT it is not what the description or the product itself says. The lamps themselves are fine.

The quality control for this item isn’t great. This was the 4th one I ordered and the paint finish wasn’t perfect but better than the previous ones. It is a novel little lamp and reminds me of the Pixar lamp

It’s a bit flimsy, but you can’t expect too much for twenty quid. Couldn’t find the recommended lightbulb. Shame it didn’t come with one. I’d have paid a bit more rather than trawling the diy shops. Lamp is ok for my home desk.
