Pleated A-Line Skirt with Belt

This is a lovely skirt but if you are around the 5ft 2inch this comes below the knee. The waist was unusual and I do not think very flattering especially if you are older. It would be nice if M & S would do more flattering styles for the older woman, not long but true knee length.

Thought I may be disappointed with this skirt but wasn't although it is not as full as portrayed. The material is super quality and it hangs well. The top of the skirt makes it difficult to have a fitted top over it and looks the best with a top tucked inside but not what everyone wants to do. But a good wardrobe accessory.

Very well cut skirt,and nice fabric, but the pleated waistband sticks out, and looks odd. Tried it with a top not tucked into waistband, but this just makes it seem like an ordinary pleated skirt. Will be returning this item.

I thought this skirt would be perfect from the online description, but........the material felt harsh, the pleats were not stitched right to the top of the waist which was very unflattering, hardly a fitted silhouette as described, and the belt was attached in such a way that it could not be removed. A great shame - it went straight back even at 50% off

Really love it, looks very stylish and will look great in the summer with a simple white top. My normal size 12 fitted well. Bought on a special offer

When I first saw this skirt I thought it would be perfect as it was just the right length for my 5ft 2ins ,but sadly it just did n't do a thing for me was put of by the high waist .the material and the colour was perfect but the high waist just a no! no! so had to return.wish they did more skirts in this colour.

The garment was very well made with much attention to detail. I particularly liked the olive colour. It did fit well but the downside was that I did not like the high waist, it did not suit me. Consequently the item was returned .

Looked great in photo but looked strange on the gathering and pleating around the top didnt look right

This skirt was half price which was excellent as I had considered buying it at full price. Waist is high which may not suit everyone . Colour was also lighter than the illustration but otherwise it is excellent.

I liked the style, colour (khaki) and decent length, but the pleating at the waist was too bunchy for me. It would look better on a slimmer figure than mine!

I have been looking for a skirt for summer below the knee, this looked as though it fit the bill. I chose the soft white. The skirt is good quality material and a good fit except for the waist. The pleats are not stitched up into the waistband therefore when you wear it the material fans out around the waist area. It would have to be worn with either a cropped top or the top tucked into the skirt therefore making more material around the waist. I was very disappointed as I liked the colour and the material but it had to be returned.

Nice to have a skirt that sits below the knee, for a change, whilst staying out of frumpy length. The material is slightly on the yellower side of the white spectrum but this doesn't detract from the skirt. You do need to be long in the body to carry off the raised waistline but, I love it.

This is made of a nice quality heavy cotton and is very comfortable -can be dressed up and down

I have been looking for a skirt that was on the knee, a colour that I can wear and stylish. This skirt initally looked the ticket. Unfortunately it is far too bulky around the waist in particularly the front and I am slim. A disappointment.
