Cherry Wheat Beer - Case of 20

I was surprised at the strength of the sweet and sour flavours of the cherries in this wheat-beer, a perfect summer drink. My local seems to have stopped stocking this which is a great shame.

Fantastic example of a Belgian fruit beer, as good as many Kriek beers found there. My girlfriend adores it, although sweet the cherry flavour is substantial and pleasing. Great alternative summer drink and a good introduction to beer for the non beer drinker.

I recently went to Belgium and came across a Cherry flavoured beer that I craved after coming home. I have tried a few cherry flavoured beers from off licences and supermarkets since but nothing seemed to match the taste of the one from Belgium. I was considering getting some imported! I was a bit dubious about tasting this one so only bought one bottle just in case I didn't like it. Well I have to say I am so pleased I did try it. It is just as good as the Belgian one and can't wait to get back to Marks to buy more. It has a lovely sweet taste of cherry and is best served ice cold.

I bought this on the strength of the previous reviewer and because I am partial to both wheat and fruit beers. It is a very sweet beer and personally one which I wouldn't drink more than a couple bottles of in an evening. I think it is a beer to drink slowly and savour rather than consume massive quantities of. If you do have a sweet tooth and like wheat beer give it a go.

I do have a pretty sweet-tooth, if you're similarly afflicted you'll love it. Best beer I've tasted in a long time; very good job it's a 20 pack!
