Hairline crack at the handle

The mug was a gift for a friend and he really liked it but we later found a hairline crack along where the handle connect to the mug. I was wondering if I could get an exchange or another mug?

I thought this mug looked lovely online and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. It has a real summery feel to it with the bee feature so I use it in the garden with the plate, teapot, sugar bowl and jug. The mug holds 400mls, so you get a decent cup of tea.
