Balance Yoga Mat

Very happy with my purchase it does smell a little of rubber but the weight is good and doesn’t move around which is perfect for yoga.

Love the colour has good grip however it does mark easily would only recommend getting it if you do 1-2 classes a week that a low intensity

I bought tbis as I had the same one before but different colour. The thickness had changed. But same price. Not as good quality.

Love my mat, really good material, non slip, thin but cushioned. Love the colour but only negative is the pink really shows up sweat marks! So in the future I think I’d go with a darker colour

I bought the yoga mat in the light colour but I am disappointed that the first time that I attempted to whipped it left ugly marks on it despite the fact of following the instructions so I really don’t understand the point of buying this mat if we can’t clean it

The map has amazing grip and that is essentially why I bought a new mat. It isn’t as cushioned as my old one but I have got used to it and benefit from it staying put!

Purchased this mat to replace an existing SB mat & I am disappointed, when I wipe the mat it absorbs the moisture & literally takes hours to dry. I did a class this morning & it was raining from car park to gym & mat was wet during workout from the rain. 🤨

Smooth but grippy and good looking mat. Unfortunately, it arrived with stains/marks down part of one side which I noticed when I unrolled it in class for the first time. Also, it’s a shame it doesn’t include a band to secure it when rolled up.

Disappointing. Not thick at all. Useful as a travel mat or as additional mat to take to studio. Colour shows marks very easily.

Pretty good. Great texture for grip. The fabric of the mat seems to look grubby and marked straight away and this being a black mat too. I’m a physio and a yoga teacher so my mat gets a lot of use. Happy with the thickness and overall comfort.

The reviews regarding this Mat did make me nervous to try it but for me it’s great I use it for Hotpod yoga so more chance of slipping and it’s actually great!

I do about 3/4 yoga classes a week, and have done for a few years. This mat was bought for me as a present- and sadly, it’s the worst mat I’ve ever used. It’s stupidly slippery and quite simply I don’t see how it could have been designed by anyone who’s actually been to a yoga class. The surface is shiny and soooo slippery! I almost face-planted on my first downward dog. If it wasn’t a gift and I didn’t want to offend the person who brought it for me by asking for the receipt, I’d have taken it straight back to the shop. It’s made for fashion, not yoga. It’s actually not fit for purpose, in my opinion. I have loads of SB leggings and tops, so it’s not as though I don’t like the brand. But the mats? Stick to Liforme, guys! Yoga mat, anyone? SB - I welcome your response!

I loved my previous yoga mat from Sweaty Betty but they've changed the material. I don't like that it shows up any oil or sweat from my skin as a stain! I can't do child's pose without worrying that my forehead will leave a mark on the mat - this is even when I wash my face just before doing yoga. There are natural oils on our skin and I don't think I should feel ashamed of leaving marks on the mat. I think perhaps the colour doesn't help. I regret this purchase.
