I thought it was me! I thought there was something wrong with my nose! But after reading the reviews on the Aromatics perfume, I realise I am not wrong! People used to stop me and ask me what perfume I was wearing. Not any longer. The smell is awful. I have today visited the Clinique consession and mentioned the smell and the assistant was unable to help me or give an explanation. Unfortunately I don't have the receipt so unable to exchange. What an absolute waste of money. I'm so disappointed as I have worn this for years.

I have used Aromatics Elixir for nearly 25 years, it was always my favourite 'go to', however the last bottle I had smelt awful and I had to return it as it was not usable. Having read most of the reviews on different websites but all saying the same thing that it is not the original smell and a key ingredient is missing. So why put up with bad reviews - it is almost like Clinique doesn't care. Recently I thought I would just try the tester again just in case, however it smelt awful. The assistant was trying to convince me that I had to wait a couple of hours for the aroma to come out. It smelt so disgusting I wouldn't want to walk around with that smell waiting for it to change to pleasant. Please do something and stop ignoring the consumers reviews, we can't all be wrong. I would love it if the original perfume was back.

I have used Aromatics Elixer for over 20 years. It is a light fragrance that takes you through any time of day. I have used it for over 20 years and suits any age.

An old favourite and the addition of a free gift was very welcome

I quite agree with other customers that Aromatics Elixir is not as strong as it use to be, and I am very disappointed in the product. I have recently bought the perfume and even this is weaker than it used to be. These criticisms need feeding back to the makers of the perfume, as it is not an inexpensive product and users expect better.

I have come on to the website today, to find out what has happened to this perfume and surprised that there has been a change with it. I have used this this particular product for 20+ years. Like other people have mentioned I have always had compliments on it and asked what I am wearing from both men and women but realised that people have stopped commenting and I can no longer smell it in my wardrobe like I used to. After the reviews I've read I can see now that there's definitely been a change, this surely shouldn't be being sold under the same name, what a shame though, I struggle to find perfumes that suit me as many give me migraines and although this was a long lasting fragrance it was fine and I know many others who went on to buy after smelling it on me. I understand that trends change and unfortunate if an item is discontinued but to think you're using the same item and realise you are not, well that's just not right.

I also have worn this beautiful perfume for many years and have recently purchased a new one as my old one ran out. Sadly it is not the same, before I was complimented continually on it and recommended it to everyone. It used to last ages but now not one person has mentioned it when I wear it, and it hardly lasts any length at all. Please Clinique change it back it was my signature fragrance and people would walk into a room and know I had been there.. very sad customer.

I'm heartbroken! I have been happily wearing this gorgeous perfume for many many years. This has been my signature scent, recognised by my family and friends and now I really don't know how to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the NEW TERRIBLE aromatic scent I had read a few reviews about the change but it wasn't until I made my next purchase that I discovered to my horror that this is just an intruder and nothing like the original classic. WHY OH WHY did you think it was a good idea to change a favourite, much loved and fabulous perfume. I'm actually at a loss for ideas on what I'm going to be using in the future. For sure it will not be this. PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!

I have worn this perfume for over 10 years now - During that time I have walked into many places and both Men and Women alike (mostly Men) have asked me what scent I am wearing. It is my fragrance stable and I feel confident every time i wear it.

I received this as a free gift. It came in a pretty little box and the bottle was very sophisticated looking. However, I did not like the heavy smell. It unfortunately was overwhelmingly strong. I offered it to my teenage daughter who turned it down. I then offered it to my ten year old for 'dressing up play' - she also said she did not like it, "thank you though mummy". This will suit somebody I have no doubt as it is good quality and the smell lingers all day. Just not for me ( or my two girls! )
